Many, many, many people don't have a set work schedule, you know. They'll get called to go do this for this or that reason, so you're forced to sleep 3 hours here, 3 hours there.

I only nap during the day if I only got like 3 hours of sleep the night before

I don't know how people can get a full good nights rest and STILL need a nap

i don't see how it's impossible to fit a half an hour of sleep in a day when you only have an 8 hour work day or when you're in college and you only have 6-8 hours of classes on average

not that i do it myself, but some people have awful sleeping patterns especially in college so they might need a quick nap everyday to function properly

long breaks between classes facilitate that need!

If you're like me, for 3 days a week you have some classes early in the morning and a couple more later in the day. So why not take a short nap in there? Makes me feel better rested for my evening classes.

Napping daily is common in many cultures. In the United States, Japan, and Western Europe, life is faster and more synchronized, but that's not necessarily the way the rest of the world does it. NAP TIME SON.

I hear napping is mandated by law in Mexico.

I'm actually disabled, so I have the opportunity to nap quite often. I might get a job one of these days though. I have one of those fake disabilities that if I were someone else I would totally tell myself to suck it up and get a job.

why not just eat dinner first and combine the nap and "go to bed" part.

for me specifically on work days it usually goes like this

5AM - wake up
6AM - go to work
2PM - come home
2PM ~ 3:30 - 4PM - nap
then from 4PM to midnight is whatever I feel like doing. usually gaming and dinner is thrown in there at a random time. Never really the same time every day. Could be as early as 5PM, might not be until 9PM

and obviously if I don't work then the schedule is completely different. It's more like...

7AM~8AM - wake up
7AM - 1:30AM - Ace of Games mode. Maybe a nap in there if I feel like it

The nap is really just to make up for the fact I typically only sleep 5 hours at night. If I do happen to sleep longer than that, which does happen on occasion then I usually won't take a nap that day.

Does it count as a nap if you sleep during the day just because you didn't get any sleep the previous night? That's basically the only kind of nap I take.
