Hey B8! I wonder if you'd help me, you see, I've been addicted to romantic, cute, and sweet anime ever since I finished Junjou Romantica and now that I'm out I need some more. I'm looking for romantic Shonen-ai/Yaoi first and foremost, but if it's romantic enough go ahead and give it a mention because I'm craving some sweet, cheesy, life affirming feel good stuff, I don't care if they have troubles first, as long as they get there. The closer to Junjou it is the better.

Getting a little less romantic at the end there, but yeah, if you've got the time, feed me all the romantic anime you like. If you've been holding out on trying to sell someone a cutesy lovefest now is the time.

Haha, well I'll keep School Days in mind anyway I suppose, despite what I've.. heard. Lol.

Man, I've heard so much about Clannad lately! I suppose it's going on my list of stuff I'll definitely watch. Oh, and I didn't mention it because I forgot but I do much perfer to watch my anime dubbed. I'm not tied to it having to be dubbed because I'd miss out on so much great anime that never got translated, but if it has an English version I might be more likely to watch it.

Death Note is a romance? Says who? XD

If you're going to watch Clannad, I would suggest subs. I normally don't really care either way, but I watched an English Clannad clip on youtube and could have sworn that it was a fandub.

I am not trying to turn it into one of those topics. I am just saying that, from what I've seen on Youtube, the English dub for this particular show seemed really bad.

Light was never really into Misa, he was clearly using her.. I wouldn't call Death Note a romance. XD

I'd really prefer to watch it in English unless it's just extremely bad.. but if it has any support at all I'll go on and watch it dubbed.

the only romance anime i've watched and probably the only one i will ever watch is Kare Kano

it was high school and i was IN LOVE and i kinda related to the main characters (and so did ~the girl~)

it's hilarious AND well-done AND artsy(!)

only problem it has is its rather abrupt and unsatisfying end

but I HAVE NO REGRETS

Amagami SS is good even though half the arcs aren't too great. Each heroine gets a 4 episode arc so it's like you get 6 romances in one and then 2 one episode arcs for two other girls.

except you can't develop a romance at that speed (or you CAN, but the show doesn't) so it's all awkward forced encounters

the girls are cute, though



one of the saddest romances is Tsumiki no Ie. It's only 10 minutes long and probably on youtube, so check it out.
