It would be nice to see this era of relentless superhero movies come to a close within the next ten or so years and "The Avengers" certainly isn't contributing to such a future, but frankly if it's as good for the fans as the fans are saying, it should be praised and seen despite what you've said. Aside from those, marvel movies have sucked. Its all the same cheesy bull with a lot of money invested in making the movies have godly special effects. Which is a shame because when i was a kid, there was about a whole year where i spent my $5 allowance each week on 2 packs of marvel cards (1992 set was the best imo) or a comic book.
