FCW - February 5, 2012

Hey, we got Regal and Byron this show! Wonderful. First match is Audrey Marie & Kaitlyn vs Raquel Diaz & Sofia Cortez (aka Isabelle from Tough Enough).

Regal: What a wonderful job I have.

Byron: Kaitlyn is like that girl next door who will bake you a pie with a smile if you ask.
Regal: The girl next door for me in Liverpool was a drag queen.
Byron: Oh. Well that's unfortunate.
Regal: She had a limp and a lisp.

Hahaha. Sofia challenges Kaitlyn to a test of strength and then loses horribly.

Regal: What we need here in FCW is a nurse. I've got a thing for nurses. You never know where their hands have been, do we?
Byron: I think this is becoming a show in itself. Audrey, so hot. Sofia is hot as hell too. That ass.

Byron: Some people describe Raquel Diaz as pompously conniving.
Regal: There's nothing wrong with that. I find that's a wonderful trait. I would put that trait over honesty and integrity to be completely honest with you.

Audrey wins it after a victory roll with the bridge. Actually not a bad match. They keep hyping up Bo Rotundo's return. I seriously don't get why he's been pushed so much.

OMG DAMIEN SANDOW PROMO! He gives an intense promo about how he's going to make sure Richie's next match will be his absolute last.

OH GOD NO! Eli Cottonwood is back! And he's about to drag Corey Graves down with him! Why!? Why does Eli Cottonwood still have a job!? Corey Graves looks particularly Aussie thug-like.

Regal: Would you let Eli Cottonwood babysit your children?
Byron: Uuuuuuh.... If he were the last babysitter around? Probably not.
Regal: No.

But it gets better! The match is Brad Maddox & Briley Pierce vs Eli Cottonwood & Corey Graves! Yaaaay! Brad Maddox now has an arm guard that says PUNCH! on it. That is the most glorious thing. He also shaved his insane chin hair. Honestly? Not the best match. Briley is coming along in a way to make his brother proud. Brad didn't get too much offense. And then Eli Cottonwood won it by doing a really awkward chokeslam on Briley. For those wondering, Eli Cottonwood still sucks. Really badly.

Ahahaha next is a segment with Abraham Washington laying on James Bronson's couch and ranting about how he's not crazy like Dave Chapelle or Martin Lawrence and keeps rambling until Bronson tells him to stop. He tells him not to worry and puts his hand on Abe's pec, making Abe go "Eeeeeeeh" like he was creeped out. lol Abe goes about ranting while Bronson prepares. Then James turns around, tells Abe that it will only take a second, then reveals a medical glove with KY Jelly on it. Abe goes "Heeeeell no" and peaces out. Omg.

Next up is Leakee vs Dean Ambrose vs Seth Rollins for number one contendership. Ambrose starts the match by talking trash to William Regal from inside the ring. It's a great match and Regal talks a lot about how Ambrose is getting to him and such. The finish comes with Ambrose nailing the Knee Trembler on Rollins and then setting him up for the Midnight Special. But then Leakee gets in the ring and lifts up both men for a double Samoan Drop. That is literally the first and only time I have EVER been impressed by Leakee. Consider that. Leakee hits his Check Mate on Ambrose and gets the win. Leakee is our number one contender.

Then there's a backstage segment where Regal is flirting with Danielle, but Maxine runs in and looks pissed and demands he come into her office. Regal has nothing to say about that.

Next is Nick Rogers vs Bo Rotundo. I hate Nick Rogers because his thing is where he just repeatedly poses and goes "JAAAAAAAAAAAAAACKED" at least four times in his entrance. I don't know who I root for in this match because Bo Rotundo bores the crap out of me too! This match is shorter than both guys' entrance. Bo ends it with a Spear. ...Yaaaaay...

Damien Sandow comes out for his match and tells everyone to get their cameras out so they can take a lasting photo of Richie Steamboat before they never see him again. Goodness. It's Damien Sandow vs Richie Steamboat. It's a short, but good match. It ends when Damien Sandow nails Richie in the face with some kind of wrench. Ouch. Richie wins by DQ. Then he talks trash to Richie as he's unconscious. As he's leaving, he puts it back under the ring and tells the camera "They may need that." XD I love this f***ing guy.

Not the best show, but we get Abe and Bronson, which was pretty amusing. Then there's Damien Sandow stuff, which is ALWAYS entertaining. Watch it!

We have THREE commentators tonight! Chris Russo, William Regal, and Byron Saxton! We begin with a segment where apparently earlier in the day, Leakee's ankle was busted. Bo Rotundo and Husky Harris were the ones tasked with finding him and checking on him.

Abraham Washington comes out to the ring.

Regal: I just hope he doesn't come out and sprain his ankle or something.

lol Abe talks to the crowd and says that the Florida Tag Team Titles are vacant! WHAT!? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Briley Pierce is injured! ;_; Not little Ziggler! Whyyyyyy? It will be Bo Rotundo & Husky Harris vs Brad Maddox and a partner of his choosing. Maddox comes out looking like he's about to cry and pounds his chest. Abe is nice enough to give him the mic and a hug.

Maddox: Ladies and gentlemen, I have some terrible, tragic, horrible, awful, terrible, tragic news. [Less sad] ...Uh. I don't know how to say this. [Sad again] B-b-b-b-but my former partner, Briley Pierce, injured his right leg. Broke it! Aaaaaah... [He bites his hand] And he will no longer be able to compete. A-Abe, as you know, it's not easy replacing your heart and soul of a tag team partner! It's not easy at all. And I tried my best. I searched high and low, far and wide, for someone to replace-- well, obviously nobody can replace Briley Pierce-- but I tried my very best. So ladies and gentlemen, can you please join me in welcoming my new tag team partner? Eli Cottonwood, everyone!

F***ING BULLS***! So it's Bo Rotundo & Husky Harris vs Brad Maddox & Eli Cottonwood for the Florida Tag Team Titles. Caylee Turner's mic went out when she was introducing the Rotundos. lol Yeeeeah, Maddox is definitely a heel again. Bo is about to go for the Spear, runs off the ropes, and Eli Cottonwood pulls them down while Maddox holds onto the ref for help. Brad Maddox's boots say KICK on them. That is so wonderful. Anywho, it's a pretty standard match. Maddox beats down Bo in the corner and does a cocky swagger back to the middle of the ring, does Bo's Spear hand gesture, when Eli Cottonwood yells at Brad, telling him to finish Bo off. He starts to argue with Eli for a while, and then he turns to face Bo, who nails him with a SURPRISE SPEAR AFTER HE'S BEEN DISTRACTED! This spot never gets old. The Rotundos are the new Florida Tag Team Champions. Brad starts yelling and shoving Eli Cottonwood and blaming him for distracting him. So Eli Cottonwood chokeslams him. I swear to god, Eli Cottonwood has zero charisma.

Seth Rollins is backstage and some chick walks up and sets a laptop in front of him. Seth Rollins says "Shoulder?" and looks confused as she walks away. This chick is apparently Paige. She's very British.

Oh god yes, more Xavier Woods! He's got dreadlocks now! He's becoming more and more like Dee Jay! Uh oh, he's going up against Antonio Cesaro though. Xavier Woods vs Antonio Cesaro now. Regal leaves halfway through to go on the phone. I honestly expected a much more awesome match from these guys. It was pretty good, but not all kinds of epic it should have been. Cesaro wins it with a European Uppercut to the back of the head.

Richie Steamboat gives a promo being psyched about being the 15 Champion. He then says that he looks forward to his rematch with Damien Sandow. And Damien Sandow shouts "Lights on!" And all of the lights in the arena turn on. He walks out. "Lights off!" All of the lights turn off. "Spotlight please!" And a spotlight appears just in time for Richie to Super Kick Damien Sandow in the face. The spotlight follows him as he tumbles. lol

Ahahaha. The whole FCW roster is ringside with Maxine talking to them about how they need to all meet up with Dr. James Bronson and be evaluated. Everyone is like "wtf" over it. XD Then Danielle Monet comes out with a goofy smile on her face, flanked by Regal and the little midget announcer guy I hate. It was very awkward. This segment happened earlier in the day, I guess. Byron then says he has heard nothing but good things about Bronson and looks forward to his appointment with him. lol Apparently Leakee vs Leo Kruger will not happen now. Leo Kruger gets to have mic time later though. Also, Byron Saxton's sling has "FRAGILE SAX" on it. XD

But for some reason WWE let Road Dogg out of the bowels of the Titan Towers to come on FCW! Road Dogg is now on commentary too! Leo Kruger comes out to talk. Road Dogg calls Byron "Jonathon Coachman Junior". Hah. Byron is better than Coach ever was, imo! Anyway, Kruger shows how awesome he is on the mic by going "Hellooooo FCW morons!" Cleveeeeer... He says he'll have a match here tonight anyway after botching his lines a few times. He says that he will allow anyone to challenge him to a match for a non-title match tonight. If they win, they will get a title shot tonight. If they lose, they will never get a title shot though. And Mike Dalton comes out to accept!

So it's Leo Kruger vs Mike Dalton. Byron puts over Leo Kruger as such a noble guy. Dalton has some wicked awesome tights now. If Leakee is really injured, I don't think I'll mind. I find him so damn boring. However, this match between Kruger and Dalton are good. Road Dogg isn't that good on commentary. Mike Dalton has a ton of awesome offense. Leo Kruger then tries peacing out, but Road Dogg goes ringside and throws Leo Kruger back in the ring. Impaler DDT to Kruger and Mike Dalton wins it! Really good match.

Well, might as well check out Richie on the mic (very hit or miss) and Damien Sandow's awesome. And then there's the good Leo Kruger and Mike Dalton match. You can also see Kruger's mic skills too (kind of miss).
