-nWo want a rematch. How convenient, since I have the belts on the wrong people in-game! Rating: 68
-The Rock is out to host a BIKINI CONTEST. Layla is the first out, but right as she is disrobing, Mordecai comes out to put a stop to this shameful display! Somehow a tag match is booked. Rating: 70
-Match: Rock/Layla v. Mordecai/Tamina Despite Rock being in street clothes and Layla being in a bikini, the faces are able to go over. Rating: 70
-Barrett is going to CRUSH Shamrock in Lions Den! He knows it! He is looking for a way to vent some frustration tonight, and is happy when DDP shows up to suggest some yoga. Rating: 70
-Match: DDP v. Barrett This is not the kind of stress relief DDP had in mind. He puts up a good fight, but Barrett gets the best of him in the end. Rating: 57
-Bryan is backstage to give his thoughts on Christian. They both have free rides to WM, but the difference between them is that Bryan thrives on competition and staying sharp. Thats why Bryans going to win at WM, why hes gonna beat Christian at EC, and why hes gonna win tonight. Its why hes the best in the world. Rating: 84
-Match: Taker v. Brodus Goes about as you might expect. Rating: 82
-Match: Khali v. Cara II Khalis push is officially over, as the slippery Cara II outfoxes him for the win. Rating: 65
-Rock calls out Laurinitis and Awesome Truth. Rock wants to know why Laurinitis is back. Laurinitis points out that he might have been fired, but hes still allowed to be a manager! The three of them together will be unstoppable, and theyll revolutionize WWE together! Rock notes that there are plenty of people in the locker room who want that stopped, so Awesome Truth will face two of them right now. Rating: 89
-Match: Orton/Show v. Awesome Truth Pretty intense match, but Awesome Truth are able to prevail in a relatively clean fashion. Rating: 89
-Chavo runs in and beats on Orton some more! Rating: 77
-Match: Sheamus/Bryan v. Henry/Christian All four men are wanting to make a big statement here as they gear up for EC. All four of them DO make that statement, but Sheamus is the one who puts the exclamation point on it with a Brogue Kick. Rating: 96
-Sheamus and Bryan are in the ring post-match, and Christian gets a measure of vengeance on them both with Sheamus title belt! Rating: 84
Post-show: Ryder/Yoshi d. Haas/Dibiase (50); DANCE PARTY LOL (71)
-Do you want to know how bad Khali is? He improved in Rumble skills. By having a match with Sin Cara II. If you are a monster learning brawling and power from a luchador, something is horribly wrong.
-3 70s in a row freaked me out a bit.
-ya go my ME
NEWSWIRE
-At last nights NOAH tour, Ogawa took the GHC Hardcore title off Kobashi after an almost three year reign.
-Scott Hall, Tatanka, and some mostly unimportant people are retiring.
-Capn Petey Williams and Tyson Kidd have both decided to emulate Japanese Juniors.
-Gunner/Kash failed to carry Xplosion past a 49.
-FCW chugs along with a 47. The Mahal/Shark Boy rematch didnt go great, but Sid saved the show in a triple threat.
-Friggin. Fox8 wont let me put NXT on youtube. Cancelling with them.
-NWA got a 51, with Watts/Pearce headlining in a decent effort.
-Gerald Brisco has retired.
-RoHs latest taping rather bombed at 64, possibly because of the Conway/Rhino ME.
-NWAs monthly show was a disappointing 43. Brown/Watts was a fairly weak ME, and Spears and Pearce could only do so much in a midcard match with the RockNes Monsters.
-AJPW continues to hotshot the All Asia tag titles around the fed, with Sanada and Soya reclaiming the belts from BUSHI and Dupree.
-RoH Proving Ground bounced back with a solid 78. London and Benjamin went over Corino and Steen to cap off a string of solid matches.
Pre-show: Edwards d. Primo (62); Swagger d. Yoshi (74)
-Orton hypes up Rollins, suggesting that Barrett beware an upset. Rating: 82
-Match: Rollins v. Barrett But the miracle never happen... Rating: 64
-Match: Cabana/Woods v. Slater/Williams Spoilers: Pros who arent Mordecai or Parka pretty much auto-win against rookies Rating: 56
-Andy Leavine shows up to make fun of everybody in the previous match and call NXT a waste of time compared to TOUGH ENOUGH! He issues an open challenge to any Rookie, but Show points out that the Rookies all have matches booked already. Perhaps a nice 6-man tag with Show and some of his Pro buddies? Rating: 74
-Match: Dutt v. Daivari Daivari may be coming off a loss to Rock, but hes still got momentum, and he gets the W here. Rating: 54
-Bryan calls out Mordecai and wants to know if hes using some sorta crazy mind control on Edwards. Mordecai just scoffs and calls Bryan a lost soul. Rating: 64
-Match: Show/Orton/Parka v. Leavine/Haas/Dibiase The Pros give Leavine what for! Rating: 65
Post-show: Entire NXT roster does a finisher train on Leavine (78); Ryder d. Masters (51)
Overall: 68
FROM THE BOOKERMAN
-I expected better from the ME. Parka was the only jobber involved, so I figured Show and Orton would be enough star power to carry the match well.
-I feel like the Rookies are getting more capable of watchable matches now.
-I figure that Im stuck with Leavine for at least two months, so I might as well see if I can mold him into a remotely decent worker. Probably wont happen in time for Mania, but having goals is nice.
NEWSWIRE
-Impact got a 78, once again rivaling Raw. Angle retained over Storm, Hardy, and Daniels in an excellent ME.
Another pretty easy one, although a lot of you went with Khali understandably and Leavine/jobbers semi-understandably. Huge mixup to the standings, with War taking a pounding, CPU rocketing out of nowhere with a true perfect, and a whole mess o' people tying for third.
Non-title: HHH v. Slater Otungacutty v. Nash/X-Pac Trish/Melissa v. Beth/Natalya EC Qualifier: Morrison v. Leavine Kane/Bourne v. Cryme Tyme Dreamer v. Sheffield Gabriel v. Cena Jericho/Kofi v. ZigSwag v. Del Rio/Punk BONUS (2): Who takes the fall in the ME
-Pre-show: nWo promo (100); Reks/Hawkins d. Hurritino (52); Vickie hypes up ZigSwag (84)
-Gabriel starts the show demanding a US Title shot, but Slater comes out to pooh-pooh him again. Things get heated when HHH shows up. Theyve been feuding for months now, and HHH feels Gabriels earned a shot several times over by now. Hell get one, but for now, hes tired of hearing them both, so they both have matches tonight! Gabriel will face Cena, and Slater....well, Slater has a non-title match with the Game right now! Rating: 68
-Non-title Match: HHH v. Slater HHH isnt dressed to compete, and almost loses, but it being HHH, he finds a way to go over in the end. Rating: 88
-Match: Otungacutty v. Nash and X-Pac The ousted tag champs are pretty pissed, and take it out on the faces. Rating: 68
-Match: Trish/Melissa v. Divas of Doom Been a while since weve actually had Natalya and Beth together. They get Beths win back from last week. Rating: 74
-SILENT RAGE Andy Leavine is in the ring. He points to the EC sign and informs us I want in. Morrison comes down to the ring and gives a long diatribe about earning your place. Rating: 80
-EC Qualifier: Morrison v. Leavine Leavine is out of his league here, but still manages to put forth a decent effort by some miracle. He sure as heck doesnt win, though. Rating: 87
-Cryme Tyme inform us that theres no stopping Cena on his path of destruction, whether its Show, HHH, Kane, or anybody else standing in his way. He got Cryme Tyme watchin his back. Rating: 75
-Match: Kane/Bourne v. Cryme Tyme ...unfortunately, Cryme Tyme missed the memo where they are the heel sidekicks in charge of absorbing most of the beatings. Rating: 77
-Match: Dreamer v. Sheffield Sheffields been a bit wonky since he lost his undefeated streak, but hes back on track with a big win here. Rating: 63
-Del Rio is backstage, a bit nervous about the match tonight, and more nervous about defending in the Elimination Chamber. Estrada thinks that he should take the fight to the other guys, and remind them whose destiny it is to be champion! Rating: 86
-Match: Gabriel v. Cena Gabriel actually holds his own really well, but yeah, Cena is streets ahead. CAN NOBODY STOP THIS MAN? Cena reverses a Pedigree into an FU for the win. Rating: 74 Cenas Loose Cannon gimmick gets an initial........9.
-Cena pretty much rehashes Cryme Tymes promo about going through whoever he needs to go through to get to Rock. Rating: 85
-Match: Jericho/Kofi v. ZigSwag v. Del Rio/Punk Here we have an ELECTRIFYING CHAMBER PREVIEW :O Its pretty back and forth, but halfway through the match, Del Rio attacks Punk from behind! He appears to be attempting to gain some momentum by backstabbing his temporary partner, but it essentially takes his team out of the match, at which point Jericho is able to dispatch Swagger for the win. Rating: 92
-SILENT RAGE comes barreling down the ramp! He tries to run in on Jericho again, but Jerichos ready for him this time, and fights him off. Rating: 78
Post-show: Punk bets Masters can beat TWO guys! (82); Ryan/Riley d. Masters (51)
Overall: 84 SUCCESS lol angles
FROM THE BOOKERMAN
-Did....did Leavine just put on a watchable match? o____O
-Cenas gimmick gets friggin NINE. Thats rough.
-Somebodys contract is up and I am NOT GOING TO RENEW IT :OOOOO
Hahaha... 9. You may as well just reassign him another gimmick immediately it's not like you can possibly do worse even with the "you changed the gimmick too soon" penalties.
Seriously though I could've totally you that beforehand loose cannon in this mod is suicide it has like 90 risk and 85 subtlety or something. No skill at pulling it off can save that with most products
-- No problem! This is a cute and pop genocide of love!
...And just like that, Gr8's back in the running. The ME was a big make-or-break deal here, with few problems the rest of the card other than the diva match. CPU manages to secure the lead, but he's got several people hot on his tail. Maniac turns in the most anti-climactic performance ever to tumble down the rankings...he, Football, and Lopen really need to strike gold with the next show to stay in the running.
