"A story set in the world of the Mexican holiday Dia de los Muertos"

https://twitter.com/#!/leeunkrich/status/194959048075001856.

No idea if this will be before or after the proposed movie The Good Dinosaur, but it sounds really intriguing, and Unkrich is fantastic

Yes. That's next year. Then The Good Dinosaur, presumably, and then this.

Sounds like there's one in between The Good Dinosaur and this one too.

I can only assume that it's Pixar's PSYCHONAUTS: The Movie.

Pixar's just copying from Tim Schafer, now? I can get behind that.

I don't think so, although I think originally Cars 2 and Brave were planned for release in the same year. Not sure though.

Of course, Dia de los Muertos movie could just be 2016 and planned out waaay far in advance. The worst part about Pixar movie announcements is waiting for them to come out. :\

Then I'll buy tickets to watch it something like twenty times and buy it on Blu-Ray the day it comes out.

To be fair, planning for everything after Toy Story until WALL-E started in a little brainstorming session right after Toy Story.

Pixar has never released two films in one year, and only recently(in 2006) did they develop a yearly summer release schedule. Before that movies were 1-3 years apart.
