There is a wide-reaching network of save prompting including edwards, Nio, Maniac, lefty, War, Reg, Ngirl, Dante, Jeff Zero, and Justin. Maybe at the request of someone, maybe not. It varies

I have had someone notify me that a round started so that I wouldn't miss it, but there was nothing on who to save and it wasn't even from someone who saves the same stuff as me, so it didn't benefit them at all.

I can only remember it happening for one night round and I have never done it to someone else. I would hardly call that part of a "network"

I don't know, I guess I don't see something real wrong with letting regular voters know so they don't miss a round and therefore miss out on the fun of participating in this.

Just because it's a save for a character they don't cover doesn't mean anything. Plus, it's not necessarily about getting people you want safe safe, but it also effects who gets booted. You could just prompt everyone who doesn't save your target boot.

There's also the fact that this prompter isn't prompting every smfffcer (I've never been prompted). There's a reason for that.
