With Uldum's elimination, Cataclysm is officially the first expansion completely eliminated from the contest. Uldum itself is an extremely fun zone with two plotlines that both work out extremely with, with the Harrison Jones half being even better than the ancient evil war half. Easily a top tier zone for Cataclysm, and for WoW overall. Scarlet Enclave's elimination leaves Azuremyst Isle as the OFFICIAL last zone standing in terms of starter zones, and it leaves Sholazar Basin as the last WotLK zone left in the contest. Really, Scarlet Enclave is extremely fun, getting to be evil and then getting redemption afterwards. And the Scarlet Crusade or whatever they are...they're bad people, so I don't feel bad for killing them off at all.
RULES:
You may save ONE zone every HALF HOUR. FOUR saves required to save a zone. All saves must come from different users. Last ONE zone unsafe is eliminated. No Alts. No Rallying. Save trades okay. No deleting posts.
Best remaining zone hands down. Ugh Azuremyst. Duskwood was amazing pre-cata, but stripping the back-and-forth between the town and graveyard kinda killed the zone for me. I guess I like pointless travel time in cool zones.
Ugh for Westfall being safe already. It's seriously one of the lamest zones in the game. Everything human pre-Duskwood is, really, although Elwynn's at least tolerable.

Okay, I just noticed this line. How the hell can you say Duskwood is the first good human zone? It's just a lesser version of the entire Undead questline! Westfall, Redridge and Elwynn are all amazing.

I'm not highly familiar with the Undead zones, but I fail to see the comparison. As for the other human zones, Elwynn is idyllic and the quests aren't horrible, but Westfall is bad and boring and Redridge is beyond terrible. I'm referring to pre-Cataclysm btw, since I barely played after that. On those grounds, I would pretty much literally call Redridge the worst zone in the game. Every quest was poorly attributed for level. Every quest required dealing with getting gangbanged by {gnolls, orcs, murlocs, other assorted monsters}. And the only levels you actually had any incentive to go to Redridge were the ones where Westfall had huge gaps in their leveling and left you going "well, what do I do to get from 14 to 16 so I can move on with the Defias questlines?) Once you could get into Duskwood, there was no longer any reason to care.
Considering I've never played Cataclysm, my love for Westfall and Duskwood(also Redridge as I loved it too) comes from vanilla WoW. I always loved playing through these 3 zones. Sure I liked Elwynn, especially the atmosphere, but it was the trio after it I really looked forward to.
As for the Undead zones, while Undead are my favorite horde race I just never cared much for Tiristfal, Silverpine or EPL. I do kinda like WPL though.
But then, I don't really base my like or dislike for zones off of Lore.
