I picked the "I don't really give a crap" route, and now I'm fighting Yamato, the last of my adversaries.

I hadn't had as much trouble up to this point that brewing up a few new demons hasn't fixed, but the dragon kid's giving me a ****-ton of problems. I figured out early to just let the supporter demons do whatever and not to touch them, as it makes Yamato nigh-invincible, and eventually just tried to cheese him with an Evil Flow demon, and attack him from 6 spaces away, but even with my fused-for-magic Maragidyne-wielding demon and my main character weren't enough to take out more than one of his side-demons, and he just brings them back to life and fully heals the party as soon as another skirmish involving him pops up.

Is there anything I'm missing, or do I just need to throw even more at him? My guy's level 55; I can't imagine that would be underleveled for this.

I got lucky with Elemental Dance attacks and Dual Shadow (chance of doing the previous action twice). Attacking with Evil Flow is correct though.

Oh, also try getting a Fiend or Kishin demon to attack twice.

Yeah, if you throw a Dragon-Kishin team at him you should be able to knock him out fast. Alternatively, it IS possible to wear the revivers out, but it's a serious pain.

Holy Dance is a lot more effective than any of the dyne spells when it comes to magic I believe. Alternatively Multi-strike is beastly, but I think Yamato may have Phys Repel in that fight, I can't remember. Besides that, as mentioned a Kishin and Dragon/Chaos Wave should help a lot if you aren't able to down him in one turn.

Jikokouten is a god damn savior.

And yeah, the three of them were repellant, draining, and null respectively against physical attacks, or I would've sent Keita after him. As such, I had to Megido him to death from afar instead; no problem.

Thanks, everyone.

Pierce will still deal damage through Null and Drain Phys, just not Repel, so you could've sent Keita at two of them.

That's true. Multistrike is suicide, but since you only need to put Yamato down as quickly as possible, Multi-Hit will do just as well.

I messed up the order earlier; Yamato was the one with the Repel. =\
