While we're on the subject of LPs, maybe someone can help me find an LP which I saw a while back, but can't locate again! It was a Mega Man X no-dash/buster only/no damage run, but what made it great was the LPer's extreme monotone commentary and sarcasm. Pretty great, but YouTube has been fruitless so far.

Is two best friends play considered a Lets Play? That's the only time I've ever found someone watching somebody else play a game to be fun, and even they are hit or miss sometimes.

I don't even enjoy watching speed runs.

TobyGames can be funny. He plays a lot of games though and he takes a long time because he isn't good at playing games. Even though he does all the time.

And his sense of humor pretty much stays the same, so even if you do find his gameplay commentary funny at first (I don't presume most of you even would), it'll get old at some point.

Metroixer's Pokemom Blue LP.

It shows off all the glitches and several things you probably never have known about the game, and then goes on to do the same for Pokemon Yellow and Gold. Definitely an interesting read, and there's a text file link there with some comments by one of the original translators of the game. Read it if you haven't yet.

I'm watching through ChipCheezum's LP of MGS3. It's my favorite game, and Chip is showing me stuff even I didn't know about the game. Not to mention it's pretty hilarious. This came after watching his Killer7 LP. If you've never played Killer7, check it out, too, because the game is all kinds of ****ed up, though tedious, because the NPC's can drag on forever (Chip fixes this by streamlining the text).

As for favorites, you've already covered MeccaPrime, and others have mentioned Kazz's Facade LP, which are my absolute top 2, hands down.

DeliciousCinnamon's Vietnamese Crystal is great, mainly because of the game, but the guys aren't annoying or anything.

Then there was a collaborative LP of Battletoads by NintendoCapriSun, ProtonJon, and two others, with infinite lives turned on, as they all raced to see who could beat it fastest. It has its moments.

If I had to narrow it down to one SirRon LP, it would be his Cookie Crisis one, which features his adorable nephews and niece.

The Freelance Astronauts (or SAMaxwell Adams on Youtube) have a ton of pretty good ones. Seaman was eye-opening. Oblivion showed off a bunch of neat PC mods for the game, which I never got to see. Cargo: The Quest for Gravity is a total bat**** insane game, which translates into a great LP. And if you don't feel like sitting through a whole LP of theirs, just go watch their second video in their Mass Effect LP. You won't regret it.

Slowbeef does some good ones. I got into Snatcher and Policenauts big time because of his LP's of them. And his and Diabeetus's playthrough of Cobra: Space Adventures, Dark Seed 2, and Metroid: Other M are top-notch. Dark Seed 2 is pretty slow, but the build-up is absolutely worth it.

That's just what I got from perusing my subscriptions on Youtube. That's more than enough to keep you going for a month or two.
