Yeah, Adam was so terrible. I felt like he didn't even have very much missed potential, he was just a bad concept with bad execution. It's funny how the villain with the least personal connection to the main characters is the one everyone loves, though.

Oh, no doubt. It was all the strength of the actor and the dialogue that made him great, it's just funny that the villain with the least connection to them is also the best.

I think Adam had less of a personal connection to the heroes than the Mayor did, honestly. Adam just was a wholly unimpressive villain on all levels, and it seemed like he was only there just so there would be someone to fight at the end of the season.

Lotta great stand alone ones and whatnot, I probably wouldn't rate all the big bads at the top of the list. Caleb would definitely be near the top. Hmm and Dracula, he's a fun one.

the Master sucked in season 1, but he's amazing in any other flashback or anything beyond that though.

Adam actually wasn't a bad idea, but he was so physically clunky that they couldn't actually do anything with him. I mean the actor is so layered in that costume that he can't even move. Hard to make him compelling when he's never involved in anything ever.
