But I agree with what you're saying, Wii gamers are essentially claiming that this is the third coming of Christ (The second was Symphonia). FFX / P4 quality is just wishful thinking. Haven't played Persona 4, but Xenoblade is better than Persona 3 and every other JRPG since FFX. It's not better than FFX though. As for Symphonia, I really like that game but comparing it to Xenoblade is... not something that should be done. 80-100 hours. That's far too long, in my mind. There have only been two RPGs that felt right at that length--Persona 4 and DQ8. If it's good, it's good, but I never like hearing that an RPG takes that long to finish! It's much longer than that. When I beat the game, slightly underleveled and without doing even a third of the sidequests, clock was at 130 hours I believe. By the time I stopped playing, it was something like 240, and there were STILL multiple optional bosses and sidequests left. But yeah if this game is FFX/Persona 3 (haven't played P4) quality, then I will be floored. If it's even as good as like... Seiken Densetsu 3 (I had a hard time thinking of a meh RPG that I've actually finished), I will be surprised.
