When I first played Mother a couple months after I first beat Earthbound, I knew that track felt very vaguely familiar, but it wasn't until I replayed Earthbound that I realized the connection. Battle with a Dangerous Foe is one of my favorite tracks from Mother and one of the most iconic ones to me, but after the grinding that game puts you through, you grow pretty weary of it.

And yeah, the Youngtown and Snowman song carryovers were awesome.
