Easily the best indie game I've ever played.

The whole experience was done so well and so beautifully that I actually teared up at the end.

don't know about "best ___ game" or anything, but definitely an amazing experience

I literally knew nothing about this game at all until I played it and I was pretty skeptical about the HM Hype Machine, but man it really sucked me in. I even felt bonded with my random companion.

Yeah, I lost my original companion about halfway through and I was devastated.

My next companion was a little less willing to stick together, but whatever. He was still a bro.

I stand by my "best indie game" statement, but obviously that's a personal opinion.

Great to see people enjoyed it. It's really a unique experience, especially how the companion part was handled.

i'm still only like 30 minutes in, but it's pretty boring so far. Nothing has been very compelling on any level, though the last level I did had actually a pretty exciting moment so that was cool. The story has only had one interesting part so far too which hurts it.

I wish there was an easier way to turn off the co-op. I hate when I don't even know they are there yet and already they activate s***. I think it takes away from the experience for me personally, though I do find some elements of it interesting. Like when I first enter a level and start looking around and notice the other guy doing the same. But seriously, no way to just turn it off in options is pretty annoying.

Yeah, Journey won all kinds of awards at GDC, and one of the people who created it has been heading up the game design workshop at GDC for years.

Just finished it. That was pretty incredible. I picked up a partner during the bridge building sequence and I stuck with him until almost the very end. I lost track of him right when we reached the mountain peak and it was devastating. I was almost in tears.

Icehawk is also a terrible person so of course he wouldn't like this game.

Just played through again. Stuck with the same person all the way through, found way more secrets, and made it all the way to the end with my partner. Finishing the game right next to each other was amazing. I teared up again. lol.

I wonder if there's a way we can meet up with someone we know by like trying to meet in a certain area or if it automatically connects you with someone as soon as you enter an area regardless of where they are


mainly because I still haven't been able to finish a game with someone from beginning to end. Last two times they left during the underground area

I agree. First time through I managed to stay with the same person for most of the journey (got the companion trophy after the credits). Even if I did screw up in the underground portion, my partner still waited for me =)

So there is stuff for going through new game+? I tried it a little and noticed my scarf was reset, I thought I heard it would stay the length it was and you could grow it even more every playthrough.

What a great game. Met many different people along the way, but stuck with one person during the last stretch.

it remembers what glyphs and scarf upgrades you got previously, but that's not represented in your scarf at all on multiple playthroughs. Just the lights that get lit up in the hub for what you've already obtained.

The White Cloak if anything is the thing that will make people know you've finished it all.

While trying to look for symbols, I inadvertently had an amazing game with a white robe player. He showed me all the symbols and glyphs and we went through the whole game and it was so cool.

finished it.

I liked it, but I wouldn't go so far as to call it amazing. The game is heavily reliant on the music and to a lesser extent the visuals. At times I found myself wishing there was more substance. A few parts, mostly early on, are notably boring. But there are also some really cool moments too.

Just finished the game last night... what an awesome experience!

During my first play through, I had multiple companions and ended up walking alone at the finish.

But on my second play through, I had the same companion from the desert all the way to the end... which was amazing! It almost made me send the guy a friend request afterwards!

Great game!
