On my old alarm clock, I sometimes didn't register the sound of the alarm. Instead all I heard was the tiny pop from the speakers when the alarm sound started and stopped. It was like, "pop pa-pop pa-pop pa-pop pa-pop pa-pop pa-pop". If I was really tired I wouldn't fully wake up and something involving a funky beat would be incorporated into my dream.

All the time. The sounds of laughing, talking, water running, and my alarm clock will insert themselves into my dreams before I wake up.

No, but I've had it happen the other way around. I was dreaming about murdering someone and when I woke up there was blood and fur all over my bed... had to get a new dog after that.
I rarely remember my dreams, but when I do they are normally very different from my real life. I guess it is possible that the dreams I don't remember are just very on par with my life. So I just let them go and forget about them.
Oh and the other day I dreamt I was in the Avengers movie. I thought "man I hope this isn't a dream because this is f***ing awesome" and.pinched myself, then slapped myself, and the Hulk was all "what are you doing"
xiii, you were in the avengers. then you did that, strange thought about it and figured it'd be better off if you were from the dimension where you were just having a dream.

This!
I once dreamed about how my grandfather would tell me everything it takes to become a man: keeping your yard in shape, impressing your neighbors, making 180-degree turns...the works. By the time I caught on, I woke up to a lawnmower-infomercial. I stopped sleeping with the television on for awhile after that.

I had a dream once that my door was about to slam and as soon as it did my door actually slammed in real life and I woke up at the same moment. I have no idea how my body recognized that the door was about to slam with my eyes closed but it was pretty cool.
Well I rarely remember my dreams, but I did once remember a dream with my then girlfriend while we were running from a psychopathic Jim Carrey shooting up what I guess was my workplace.
