John Madden is a recognizable name though and receives his fair share of criticism for his style of play-calling, so it makes sense to call him out than some random person that we don't know

This is fake - but there were a lot of comical things to come of this. Defensive linemen argued over who should have higher throw power ratings and things of that nature.
