I barely won but it was on my first try.

Last bosses in Resident Evil tend to suffer from "welp I got all this magnum ammo guess I'll use it" syndrome.

Last boss is easy peasy once you know the patterns. Most of it boils down to quick turns looking for smoke or continually backing up looking for smoke.

Looks awesome though.

well im watching south park as im playing so yeah

the biggest problem im having is with the tackle attack

im still not that great at dodging

and when it grabs me i can't hit y fast enough and die every time :(

You shouldn't have to!

A shotgun with decent power and daze/bind will knock him out of any attack. MGun with power up for when he's away from you to crank out damage. Magnum with fire rate up and power/crit up for when he's stumbled.

i really don't wanna use the magnum

and im actually doing everything you said sans magnum

using magnum is like using boss weaknesses in mega man!

but before the fight i have my mgun with power up/daze

and when i run out of ammo with mgun i have to run to the box to put daze on the shotgun

should have planned out my weapons before as i knew this was going to be the last boss -_-

Using the rocket launcher is like using a boss weakness weapon tbqh. You can end the fight in like 30 seconds.

Magnum is fair game, it still takes forever.

I played it with it cranked all the way up to super max the first time through and it was nifty.

Liking it better without though for Raid and other playthroughs since I don't have to hold my 3DS in the one perfect spot to make it not suck.

CVX is good in all the other areas (gameplay, puzzles, atmosphere), but what brings it to the top level of RE games for me is the story and characters. Claire is awesome, Chris/Wesker feud is one of the best things in RE, Alfred is an awesome ridiculous villain, Alexia/Wesker fight is so good, etc. I think it excels over most of the other games in this area for sure.

ive always favored Claire over all over RE characters (none of the other mains even come close)
Wesker has always been the greatest RE villain even with resident evil 5 trying to dilute his awesomeness
Alexia/Alfred thing is hilarious and creepy at the same time
even Steve isn't so bad when you consider what happened to him and what he turns into

its just good all around
now if only it didnt have that part with the metal detectors i would have almost no grips with it at all
augh



but back to revelations
omg ghost ship is like not what i expected
ive only been using one gun in raid and got rid of the rest
and now when i do ghost ship i cant find any ammo and i can't get higher than a C
i'll keep trying though
