I might actually be able to get TEW running tonightish!
and lopen's doing stuff
I should post a synopsis of the first topic here but I am lazy
Oh uh, for those of you joining us in progress, I'm running a WWE game starting from last October and currently building up to Survivor Series. Lopen's running a TNA game starting from the same point. We WERE synced up pretty well but then Windows decided to die on me so my end of things has been on hiatus for a while and he got ahead but I SHALL PERSEVERE.
-- No Lynch Kru, assemble! Bring KrahenProphet with you!
From: Tom Bombadil | #497 did not know that about the always run as admin tab!
I have a macbook so that's a swing and a miss on that button, but I DO also have a mouse >___>
and herring seems to think that all I need is drivers so I can probably just keep on keepin' on until he brings his install disc over because I lost mine like four moves ago
and heck I'll just make a topic because I'm feeling optimistic today!
Oh. Mac keyboard in windows, huh.
Does shift + f10 work while you have it left clicked in place of the menu key?
-- No problem! This is a cute and pop genocide of love!
also is there anything available for firefox 10.0.2 that gives me linkification because as I recall from my five minutes of windows last time it only works with older versions

I gotta transfer my files over to this partition >_>
speaking of which what's a good free hosting site where I can dump all the stuff I rescued from the previous iteration of windows so I can get it back in windows
and also I have about three weeks to figure out why my windows registration doesn't want to work anymore
--
~Tommeri Uranius Bombaldi the Fourth, esq. (aka not Krakenprophet)
Assuming it's not too much stuff I would personally just send it to yourself on gmail as an attachment. Put it in a zip file if you can then change the extension of the zip file to like zipididoda so gmail won't reject it as "unsafe"
Maybe there's an easier way to do it on another site but yeah gmail has always been good enough for me.
Or if you can spare $10 to $20 just go buy a flash drive and put the stuff on that. It's worth the money as they're just useful to have in general.
-- No problem! This is a cute and pop genocide of love!
Windows can currently run TEW! I've dropboxed my data over, so if nothing weird happened with my data on its magical journey through the partitions then I will be able to book TONIGHT :OOOOO
I need drivers from somewhere but it doesn't matter yet because I can play TEW without em and also I am going to have to reinstall in a couple weeks anyway >_>. Turns out i had bought the upgrade version of windows back in the day, so now I gotta dig up a copy of XP or something so I can upgrade and then register. I have like three weeks before that's an issue, though! And now I have a better idea of how to expedite things.
Of course I have no time to book like crazy because I spent my entire night off reading friggin' dangan ronpa instead of getting stuff done but WHATEVER

By the way if you want to right click things that you can't put your cursor on hold left click on the link/picture, then press shift + f10
The pictures not working in your save is weird is that only the case with your save files...? You might've inadvertently changed the location of your pictures directory, I guess. *shrug When you choose to change a worker's picture do you see a list of pictures or not?
-- No problem! This is a cute and pop genocide of love!
Yeah, according to the GDS forums I need to figure out what the picture folder was named originally and use a folder with that name, so hopefully that will work.
Too busy booking to try it right now though >_>

So I've been considering making Ring Ka King as a developmental territory. I did this in a new file to see how it'd work, and I'm not sure how I can control it beyond sending people to it. Is that intentional? Like I'd like to make Jeff Jarrett the owner if possible and control its schedule a bit more but it doesn't seem I'm able to.
I'll still do it to send people to to increase their stats but yeah it'd be nice to be able to do more with it.
Also sucks there's no "Asia" region. Thinking I'm gonna base it out of the UK or Australia but I guess Japan might work too.

Pre-show: AAE is confident about his match (64); Gabriel d. Dibiase (60); Hurricane hosts a bikini contest and Trish wins (64)
-Santino wants a match! He gets one with....HUSKY HARRIS. Rating: 67
-Match: Santino v. Husky Santino once again finds himself puttin' over da bad guys. Rating: 53
-Sin Cara makes his way out to the ring, but Sin Cara II's picture shows up on the tron! There is tension in the air as Sin Cara surveys the picture...then points at it. For four mintues. Then leaves. Rating: 70 the hell he has no entertainment skills
-Match: Zeke v. Estrada AAE is sneaky or something and then wins. Rating: 55
-Match: Melissa and Gail v. Divas of Doom The faces fight well but come up a bit short against the pin-up strong tandem. Rating: 68
-Sin Cara II comes out! A replay is shown on the tron of Sin Cara's bit from earlier. It pauses on the shot of Sin Cara pointing...and Sin Cara II points at it! It appears the challenge has been accepted! Rating: 50
-Match: Hart Dynasty v. Drew and Raven In a shocking, never-before-seen event, the Harts beat a random thrown-together team of undercard heels. Rating: 64
-Chavo is backstage, and he's very upset. He's put up with crap for DECADES and still gets no respect. He doesn't know what he has to do. We all suck. This industry sucks. He's going to show us. Rating: 75
-Match: Yoshi v. JTG Yoshi's kung fu is stronger. Rating: 58
Post-show: nWo minion promo (72); Masters/X-Pac d. Usos (42, Punk/Masters good manager pairing)
Overall: 63 ANGLES HELPED
FROM THE BOOKERMAN
-I decided at the start to play with the non-unchained storylines for Christian/Sheamus and the Sin Caras, just to see if they were as much of a pain as I remembered. They KINDA are but aren't horrible but I'm probably just gonna go back to doing all unchained anyway. The Sin/Sin II segments are advancing that, because I figured why wreck a main show with Mistico trying to work a mic in English? Thatsaid, I have no idea how he got a 70.
-Yoshi and JTG let me down pretty badly.
-I have a plan for Chavo I promise

Nothing too radical here. Bunch of matches that really could've gone either way, although I'm a bit surprised at the number of Zeke picks and who cares this was like a month ago and just superstars there are no huge changes
PREDICT IT! because you know I have booked it and stuff with my copy of TEW that runs on my computer Smackdown Wk. 2, Nov '11
Tajiri v. Barrett AJ/Gail v. Natalya/Rosa Sin Cara v. Sin Cara II Yoshi v. Carlito Zeke/Del Rey v. Dibiase Jr./Tamina Show/Bryan v. Christian/Brodus Ryder and two partners of his choice v. Henry/Truth/Miz (Truth's #1 Contendership on the line) BONUS: Who are the two partners? (2 pts. each) (HINT: There is one debut/return and one not.)

-The last NWA Force 1 show was pretty decent and saw Greg Excellent capture the title from Johnny Calzone.
-iMPACT put on a quite decent show last night (74). The undercard was a bit lacking, but some hot angles and a Devon/Sting ME of all things made up for it.
-AJPW apparently have no plans to renew Kikuchi's contract once it expires.
-Jazz has shown up in CZW of all places.

Anyway, A BRIEF SUMMARY of what I can remember of my own angles because it has been weeks since this has progressed any >_>
RAW -Del Rio's champ, with Kane chasing him because Del Rio injured him. At least in my own reality. -Punk has reformed the NWO with Nash, Masters, X-Pac, and Serena. They took out HHH last week, and my last few shreds of booking respect a few weeks before that. Cena, Morrison, and Dreamer are among those standing up to them. -Slater and Gabriel have a minor feud going where they are trying to one-up each other. -Trish Stratus has taken Cheerleader Melissa under her wing, grooming her to take on Beth for the Divas' title. -I think tag champs Air Boom are currently feuding with Reks and Hawkins? They are now, anyway. -Swagger and US Champ Ziggler appear to be starting a feud with Tommy Dreamer. -Morrison and Otungacutty are floating in the uppercard.
SD -HHH has delegated the SD GM position to Laurinitis, despite his abysmal entertainment scores. He seems to slightly favor Awesome Truth, whom he invited to the show after they were fired from Raw. -Said Miz and Truth have been causing nothing but trouble. Vengeance was a bad PPV for them when Taker beat Truth and Miz lost a triple threat for the belt, but Truth just won #1 Contendership in a battle royal, albeit through underhanded means. Will Henry get got? -Sheamus is feuding with Christian and his muscle Brodus Clay. I honestly don't remember why, but Sheamus brought back Big Show to back him up. -Bryan is looking good these days, although it remains to be seen if I can make him a credible ME talent by the time he cashes in MitB at Wrestlemania. -Chavo is looking to PROVE HIMSELF. He and Carlito came back to SD expecting better treatment under Laurinitis. -Carlito, Orton, and Barrett are the current significant floaters.

I just gave you guys booking like 3 days ago! Gotta let Tom catch up a bit. (Actually I could've had a show booked by now but as I was saying I was fiddling around with development territories on a new file. Might have a show tomorrow though.)
-- No problem! This is a cute and pop genocide of love!
Barrett AJ/Gail Sin Cara II Yoshicensorbypass Zeke/Del Rey Show/Bryan Henry/Truth/Miz (Truth's #1 Contendership on the line) BONUS: Who are the two partners? (2 pts. each) (HINT: There is one debut/return and one not.)
Sheamus and Orton
-- Boko United - MenjiTMFan267 Guru Taken Miraculously by SuperNiceDog
Barrett AJ/Gail Sin Cara II Yoshi lolz Zeke/Del Rey Show/Bryan Ryder and Bros BONUS: Who are the two partners? (2 pts. each) (HINT: There is one debut/return and one not.) Randy Orton and RICKY STEAMBOAT
Pre-show: Husky/Daivari d. Usos (61); Sheamus and Show have a rematch with Christian and Brodus (78); Laurinitis vents to Teddy about having to deal with the attack on HHH (58)
-Truth is out to the ring with Miz to talk about the #1 Contendership he won last week in the battle royal! He and Miz banded together and beat the conspiracies holding them down, just like he's gonna beat Mark Henry! He's cut off by OHHHHH RADIO. Ryder, who lost due to heel chicanery from the duo, inquires as to the seriousness of his brother. He thinks the shot should be rightfully his, but Truth informs him that he got GOT, and can't beat Henry anyway. Ryder is confident he could do it with the Zack Pack behind him, and challenges Truth to put his shot on the line! About that time, Laurinitis breaks things up. He's got a lot on his plate tonight, so he's going to make it short and sweet. He's giving Ryder the shot...IF he can make good on his word tonight and beat Awesome Truth AND Henry in a tag match. Ryder gets two partners of his choice, because Laurinitis has bigger things to worry about after HHH was taken out. Neither Ryder nor Truth seem too happy about this. Rating: 75
-Match: Tajiri v. Barrett I think I've debuted Tajiri? Whatever, he's only on a short term contract and gonna job every time :\ Like now. Now is a time he jobs. Rating: 60
-Barrett says the Barrett Barrage rolls on, despite a few bumps in the road. (referring to his loss to Bryan at Vengeance and battle royal loss last week) He's the future of the WWE, but now it's time to become the present. Orton puts an end to the promo, calling Barrett a has-been rather than an up and comer. Everybody knows Barrett hasn't done a damn thing since he got kicked out of Nexus. Orton thinks it's kind of pitiful the way Barrett struggles for relevance. Barrett invites Orton into the ring to settle things, but refs break up the confrontation. Rating: 82
-Match: AJ and Gail d. Natalya and Rosa Rating: 66
-Match: Sin Cara v. Sin Cara II Sin Cara's out first...and gets dropkicked out of his boots by II, who was hiding behind the WWE logo on the stage! Cara II hits some flippy moves on the stage and ramp, securing a decisive advantage before the match starts (68). Mistico is able to turn the tables for a while, but ultimately comes up short after the cheap shot. Rating: 59
-Match: Hart Dynasty d. Young and Bateman Rating: 50
-Cody is sent out to save us from all this crap. He scoffs at Yoshi Tatsu being considered a worthy challenger for the prestigious IC Title! He wants Yoshi to prove he deserves this opportunity before he taints the belt's lineage just by retaining it! Rating: 65
-Match: Yoshi v. Carlito Yoshi rises to the occasion, going after Carlito with an unusual amount of fire and securing what could be considered an upset win. Rating: 66
-Christian's in the ring, and wants to address Sheamus man to man. They have a tag match tonight, but he has come to the realization that all this fighting is pretty silly. Sheamus reluctantly comes out to hear what Christian has to say. Christian wants him to come down to the ring and shake hands, but Sheamus is a bit too smart for that, and stays out of the ring. Brodus runs in from the crowd anyway and jumps him! Sheamus is taken out by a 2 on 1 assault before Show can show up to make the save. Rating: 88
-Match: Zeke and Del Rey v. Dibiase Jr. and Tamina Dibiase and Tamina seem to enjoy their pairing, but this is obviously designed as a showcase for SDR, and she picks up the win with the Awesome Riff. Rating: 51

http://www.lighterside.com/images/en_US/local/products/detail/p54412.jpg Dr_Football makes me lose The Game.
-Taker is shown backstage staring into eternity when Ryder pops up! Ryder starts babbling about Taker and Awesome Truth and Taker being a legend and Truth getting a cheap win and all these weirdos taking over the show and will Taker team with him tonight? Taker simply stares at Ryder for a full minute with a look of disgust, then turns and walks off. Ryder decides to take that as a yes. Rating: 87
-Match: Show and Bryan v. Christian and Brodus Bryan is sent in to sub for Sheamus, who we're told is receiving medical attention in the back. Bryan turns out to be an excellent ringer, and manages to be the driving force behind a face team win. Rating: 75
-Bryan's still in the ring finishing up his celebration when Chavo's music hits! Chavo walks purposefully out to the ring, and attacks a confused AmDrag! Bryan is too tired to overcome the fresh Chavo, and Chavo destroys him in the middle of the ring, stealing the LeBell Lock for good measure! He seems quite pleased with himself. Rating: 76
-Match: Team Ryder v. Henry and Awesome Truth Ryder's out first. He's pretty bummed that he was only able to find one partner tonight....but he has the BEST PARTNER EVER! His partner tonight is the DEADBRO! After an awkward silence, The Undertakerski decides he might as well go through with this, and makes his way out to the ring, obviously not NEARLY as hyped for this match as Ryder. He does seem interested in beating up the heels, though, when they come out. Sadly, it is not to be, as even with Taker on your side, a 2v3 against the brand's top heels rarely goes well, and the numbers game does catch up to them. Towards the end, Taker struggles on the outside against a doubleteam while Henry inducts Ryder into the Hall of Pain. World's Strongest Slam! 1.....2....IF YA SMELLLLLLLLLLLLLL! Everything comes to a stop as THE ROCK charges the ring, and cleans house on all three heels! The ref yells at him, but Rock retreats to the face corner and grabs the little holdy rope thing! I guess he's Ryder's other partner now! Ryder manages to crawl over for the hot tag, and Rock cleans house all over again! He hits Truth with the Rock Bottom and People's Elbow before tagging Ryder back in to get the win with the Rough Ryder! Show ends with Rock and Ryder standing tall, as Taker wanders off to be somewhere less perky. Rating: 83
Post-show: Chavo decides it's a good idea to interrupt the Rocks' return promo (91); Rock d. Chavo (72)
Overall: 73 FAILURE lol angles
FROM THE BOOKERMAN -TEW HAVER! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! -Rock didn't seem to have any problems with ring rust at all. Very [good]. -I am really hoping Ryder and Chavo benefited from those interactions with him. -Wowzers does my midcard ever suck. -Hart Dynasty are veeeery quickly running out of things to do on SD while they wait for their inevitable tag title feud, but I have a couple of ideas. Just not for this week, obviously. <_< I am also bummed that their talent and tag experience can only do so much to make otherwise crappy matches watchable. -I don't know WHY the idea of Taker having to put up with ADHD!Ryder is so amusing to me, but it is.
-AJPW could potentially be losing top star Yuji Nagata to a bigger fed...which pretty much just means NJPW, I guess.
-Xplosion registered an impressive 66, buoyed by a strong Hernandez/Shelley main event.
-EVOLVE has added Johnny D to their roster.
-CZW has picked up Al Snow.
-FCW continues to put on decent shows despite the continued push of Leavine. He retained over friggin' Low Ki, but at least he had somebody to carry him.
-we don't really care about a bunch of indy hirings of no-names do we
-PWX gets Bill DeMott.
-Candice Michelle has reportedly joined SHIMMER.
-Anonymous sources indicate that Davey Richards "is kind of a dick in this database as well." The meaning of this is unknown.
-FCW seems insistent that the answer to their TV ratings woes is to save all their good matches for live events. The most recent taping saw a main event of Eli Cottonwood defeating Percy Watson.
-Despite rumors of a WWE raid, RoH continues delivering quality. Corino went over Jay Briscoe in a solid match, but Rhino/Benjamin threatened to steal the show.
-In a recent shoot interview, Kelly Kelly mentioned her love of warming up the crowd early on. Draw your own conclusions.
-RoH All Star Extravaganza V pulled out all the stops, with a double main event featuring Richards/Corino and an excellent 6-man tag.
-The G1 Climax Tag Tournament reached a thrilling conclusion, as the new team of Rhino and Kojima prevailed over Liger and Kanemoto in a solid bout surpassed only by the semifinals before it.
-Predictably, FCW's TV show has been cancelled.
