I suspect I've been spoiled, but I'm trying to doubt those preconceptions. My brother's been trying to get me to play this for years, so let's do this.

I meant to update yesterday, but I didn't play any further than what the demo allowed me anyway.
*SPOILERS...?*
Still, it's a great start to a game by barely surviving a plane crash and finding a world that opposes your own idea of the world so immediately. It's a high-stakes way of saying "if you want to continue, you continue under our rules." I think I'm really going to like Andrew Ryan, too.
The idea of Big Daddies, Little Sisters, and some other familial relationships displayed through-out are also neat for both the immediate eeriness and trying to discover underlying tones. It's hard to look too much deeper right now than knowing Big Daddies are not to be f***ed with though...yet, anyway.
