I voted for him in '08 and can't help but feel incredibly disappointed.
Wasn't he supposed to be a peace-time candidate? So why did he turn around and start even MORE wars than Bush? Yemen, Uganda, and Libya compared to Iraq and Afghanistan. Now we're involved in five wars, soon to be Iran. I guess you get the Nobel Peace Prize for starting more wars than anyone else.
Not to mention Obama supports bailouts and the Federal Reserve. And he's not even for marijuana legalization or legalizing gay marriage. And he slashed the NASA budget while raising the military budget to $1 trillion. And he signed the NDAA. fjdfjkaklf
Obama was like the greatest deception ever; it's almost respectable. He's like the new Lyndon B. Johnson. He's just as Republican as the Republicans, if not more.
Obama supporters, please explain it to me.

Plus how about the very halfassed health care reform?
Anyways, long story short, while I find a lot of what Obama does halfassed, at least he's trying in some capacity to do things I agree with, like health care. Though our system is and still will be completely messed up and moneyhungry for the forseeable future.
I was talking to some friends about this lately, since I voted Obama last time and don't plan to vote at all this time. The argument for voting for Obama is, well, a guy who does anything right and is less disastrous than some of the other openly bigoted and terrible candidates, well it's kind of a damage control vote.
Better to support somebody who does a little right than somebody who does a lot wrong. But yeah, Obama is not doing great.

We never really did much in Libya except impose sanctions and let the UN do all the fighting. There is lots of stuff to blame Obama for, but at least stick to stuff he actually did

To say nothing of the fact that he pulled the troops out of Iraq, which McCain openly wasn't even planning on doing. So there's one war he ended that would not have ended if he lost the election

Is the TC on crack? Bush started 2 stupid wars (Iraq and Afghanistan). Obama started 1 stupid war (Libya) but Obama ended 2 of those wars so now we're down to 1 stupid war.
