We actually got news that someone who was in our course last year died a couple of days ago (presumeably of a heart attack). It's a shame to hear that.

...The others were particularly interesting though. A backyard football freak accident, some overdoses, some diseases...

There was even one where a local kid worked for a GameStop that got robbed right as it was closing. The robbers hog tied him and taped shut his mouth after they looted the store. They taped a little too much of his face though, as he couldn't breathe through his nostrils and suffocated after the robbers left.

That was a sad one.

No one died in my high school while I was there, but a couple of months after I graduated a girl who I had spoken to a couple of times died.

I have friends who have had people from their schools commit suicide and it really affects the whole school.

(Keep in mind these schools have about 600-800 people, not the couple thousand like I know some in the states do.)

I used to go on the roof all the time. My roommate knew the guy and introduced him to the roof and showed him how to get up with the cargo elevator.

It's literally impossible to fall off of, unless you're walking across the slanted middle part when it's snowing, which is what I'm assuming the guy did.

in my senior year a classmate of mine died of heart failure.

I didn't even know about it until after the weekend.

When I was in highschool; one kid died from alcohol poisoning, 4 died in a car crash, 1 died from an ATV accident, 3 died in a drugdeal gone bad. None happened on the school property, but the ATV accident and car accident happened like a block down.

Uh, your death total is absurdly high. We had 2 kids die at mine over 4 years. We have about 2000 kids in the school with class sizes of 400-500

Was this really necessary? I know **** happens all the time but it's a relatively safe city and I got the ridiculous idea in my head that it could been my brother who died since all they said was 'a student'. I still don't know who it is actually.

my high school didn't have anyone die while I was there, but we did have one kid beat another over the head with a metal baseball bat because he priced his weed too high for this kid's liking. Seller ended up mostly braindead (no short-term memory, has trouble talking and stuff), but he's still alive as far as I know.

Two students from my school died while I was in high school, neither were in my year.

When I was a sophomore, a junior died from auto-erotic asphyxiation.

When I was a senior, a junior died from a brain aneurysm.


However, just months after graduating, a student I graduated with committed suicide.

Only had one kid die at my HS of ~1,000. When I was a junior, some sophomore girl I'd never heard of killed herself because she was depressed, didn't have friends, etc.

Naturally, 3 years later a s***ton of girls from her grade still post on her Fb wall on her birthday telling her how much she is missed.

Someone who used to go to my school (I'm a junior right now) died in Afghanistan a few weeks ago. My school has about 1,000 kids, and we usually get around 300 freshmen each year, with some people leaving because they're either dumb or are trouble makers.

The last time a student died was when a student committed suicide (I'm not sure what grade he was, probably junior), and then the guidance counselor who tried to convince him not to do so committed suicide.
