This is an idea that I have had a couple of times over the years but I think I have a reasonable execution this time. I only have a few minutes here so really quickly
-Is Apprentice still a thing that exists? You can use it to pretty much play whatever card game because it just keeps track of cards and makes you do numbers and rules and stuff, right? So it'd be feasible to use it to make a new game? Can it handle multiplayer or just 1v1? -It'd play a lot like Magic, with Users instead of Monsters, only one element of energy, and the added stip that you can also win by hitting a certain amount of Epop (Life) instead of reducing the other guy(s) to 0 -Could release in "expansions"....ideas I had were: Mod-User Relationship (Powerful cards, but you run the risk of getting Moderated if you abuse them!), Golden Age (B8ers of the past are strong, but require additional costs to bring back full time at full power!), The Brojo (Bros may start weak, but they synergize well with each other!), and maybe a couple based on UotY or Mafia or UCA or something. -I'd want some playtesters and ideally an artist. -This will probably not actually happen, like most projects I run, but who knows >_>
do I have some interest
do I have enough to actually motivate me

I have thought about doing this for a long ass time but from someone who has played Pokemon, yugioh, and magic there is a lot of work that goes into creating a balanced game >.<
I'll do balancing if you'll cook up the ideas. Feeling a bit too lazy to tackle yet another game project but I could provide some expertise. And yes, interest here.
Something I've always wanted to do as well. Well, make my own CCG, not necessarily a B8-based one.
I still have some basic card designs from a previous attempt many years ago, I believe. Although that one was contest- rather than board-based, so it used game characters instead of people.
Also, AFAIK Apprentice doesn't enforce rules, and there's no multi-CCG environment that does.
I suggest LackeyCCG (www.lackeyccg,com), which does no rules-handling, but has pretty good support for entirely custom games. And I've got a bit of practice putting plugins for it together.
