How is Mutant Mudds? I'm trying to decide between that and Mighty Switch Force. If I had like 15 more cents in my e-wallet I'd go Mighty Switch Force/Kirby's Adventure but damn you online tax.

Mighty Switch Force looks fantastic, and it's by WayForward (the team who did the Shantae games and a bunch of licensed platformers on the GBC). I haven't played it yet because I have no money in my eWallet, but I feel it needs someone here to champion it.

Shantae is definitely the best eshop game right now. It's DSiware, but whatever.
Mighty Switch Force is awesome but if you're not going to try to beat the par times for the levels it won't be worth the money for how long it is, imo. Just expect a decent challenge in trying to speed through the levels. Pushmo is pretty cool and has a pretty large amount of puzzles. Link's Awakening is always absolutely f***ing amazing. It's also worth noting that you can get Shantae: Risky's Revenge on any iOS device for ten dollars cheaper and with sharper visuals at the cost of having physical controls. It's a fair trade off if you're cheap.

There is a speed goal in Shantae in a portrait you get at the end of your game, so if you think you might go for that you should probably stick to the DS version.

I really enjoyed it. It's short, but it's got a sort of Metroidvania style exploration thing going. Also it's got that Metroid "you can get scantily clad ending pictures by speed running and collecting everything" deal.
I guess it's actually up to $5 in the iTunes store now, which makes the DSiWare version look less like a rip off. I got it for $2 during the holidays. The only other price I remember is PhotoDojo, which is like $2, so Shantae just looked kind of expensive to me. I haven't really browsed the eShop too thoroughly. I just picked up Four Swords Anniversary Edition, mostly.
