Board 8 > Gray or Grey?

This always confused me, apparently both spellings are considered acceptable, but it seems like this is only in America and everyone else uses grey.

What do you use?

I think I just use both. Firefox doesn't tell me either is wrong so I don't think I favor one.

I instinctively type grey, but when I think about it, I know that technically gray is correct here.
