Weekends are slow going for me. ExTha and Paul are caught up with the rest of the team and I took care of Team Plasma again. Just going to get everyone a few more levels. Clay's highest level Pokemon is 46, so I think I'll just tie that this time instead of beating it. Woo, I'mma have a Flygon.

What's weird is the Level Up Move Changes document doesn't even mention it. It also gained Seed Bomb, which is also strange. And Pay Day, but that one makes sense.

Update on team before gym battle. They're all level 46.

Yoshi evolved into Flygon and picked up Dragon Claw.

I picked up the Energy Ball TM and taught it to Kibago and Paul. Kibago then learned Petal Dance to replace it. Paul learned Psychic.

ExTha learned Ice Punch and Tail Slap, and I also taught him Strength.

Upon reaching the gym, I see Clay giving in to Ghetsis's threats and releasing the captive Plasma members. There were nine of them when we rounded them up in the Cold Storage, but now there are only three. I guess the other six weren't worth Ghetsis's time. Haha, they suck.

Inside, the gym lackeys once again pose no threat, and I soon reach Clay. Again, it's another simple single battle. Bah.

He starts with a level 42 Hippowdon and I doublecheck my documents because I could've sworn his Pokemon were level 44-46, but nope, 42-44. Goddammit I overleveled again. ANYWAY. I send out ExTha to start things off. Ice Punch does annoyingly little damage, and after two turns, Hippowdon uses Slack Off and the residual sand damage has put ExTha within KO range from another Bulldoze. Bah. I switch to Kibago.

Two Petal Dances later, Hippowdon and the following Seismitoad are gone. A Sludge Wave from the later brought Kibago into the red, though, so I switch her out for barrel after Clay brought out the level 44 Excadrill. Excadrill in a sandstorm. This could be trouble, let's just hope barrel's Defense can save her.

Excadrill starts with a Swords Dance, but not to worry, barrel one-shots it with an Earthquake. Crisis averted. A Krookodile is next and I switch to Yoshi. One Giga Drain and one Dig later, and it's down. Steelix is up next. I forgot to mention, but I gave Yoshi a Rocky Helmet, so it's funny seeing Steelix hurt itself by using weak Fire Fang attacks against her. Well, funny until one of them landed a burn.

Last up is a Marowak, and I switch to Paul 'cause why not? ...it knowing Stone Edge is why not. Energy Ball doesn't one-shot it, and Stone Edge left Paul with 1 HP. I almost gave a sigh of relief... until the sandstorm did its thing. Dammit.

I take Stan back out of the box and head for Chargestone Cave. Before I can leave the city limits, however, Bianca shows up with a team even weaker than Clay's. That said, her Emboar did almost kill ExTha.

Ugh, this cave is going to suck. I've yet to use a Repel to get to a Pokemon I want, BUT the B1F has a 10% chance of Durants, so I'm gonna hope to God I'm lucky and snag one of those awesome beasties.

Anyway, the Shadow Triad shows up and forces me to move three steps to the right. N talks and then leaves, then Bianca and Juniper talk, and then leave. But not before giving me six Lucky Eggs, holy crap.

I battle some more trainers, get accosted by the Shadow Triad again, descend to the next level, wait for the repel to wear off, and...

More trainers and wild Pokemooooon. Did I mention that doctor would be wonderful? This bottom floor is crazy. Wild Galvantulas, Porygons, Klangs, Electabuzzes, Magnetons, and Eelektriks. I'm loving my Lucky Eggs, by the way.

Well, I reach the end of the cave (wtf, what happened to the doctor?) and N is waiting for me. He has a team of every Rotom forme all at level 47. Interesting. Jesus Christ, these things hit hard... It took a hell of a lot of Hyper Potions, but I made it out unscathed. That was one scary fight, though.

Given the tendencies of hacks like this, what is a boring Boldore swarm in the original game could be damn near anything now <_< I remember a 386 hack for Fire Red I played that had wild Regirock in Rock Tunnel. That was amusing.

No. It has every legendary available, but for the most part they just have a 1% chance of appearing in shaky grass. Not entirely sure about the ones in caves, but they're probably found in the dirt mounds.

umm my favorite is Misdreavus, #2!

my least favorite is Mismagius >_>;

I like most of everything else. I own the Litwick and Golurk accounts, I used Jellicent and Chandelure in my White, I've used Banette in my Pearl, I'm fond of Froslass, Gengar and Drifblim. There's nothing that really makes me go "augh"

I quickly heal up and take Klink out of the box. It'll be a Klinklang by the time I fight Skyla, and Klinklang has been boosted. It already knows Spark, which helps. Too bad I can't get the Rock Slide TM until after I beat her, otherwise I'd teach that to it too.

Moving onward, I walk over the wooden beams of Route 7 until I make it to the double grass. Here's hoping for something useful to take Kibago's spot for this upcoming fight...

GTM's not going to be learning any good moves anytime soon, sadly.

Oh wait, that's right. The move relearner is in Mistralton, and Dusknoir can learn Ice/Thunderpunch that way. Wooooo, Ice/Thunderpunch. Sorry, Poka. I guess GTM wins this round.

They're not as high as the gym leaders, but they're still high. There was a triple battle on Route 7 with a level 45 Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise. I expect once I beat Skyla, the new trainers will be in their 50s.
