WVI is not a poor man's Zachnorn, he's a beyond-the-impossible sick f*** I wouldn't get anywhere near IRL.

Zach's influence on the board is enormous, really, and it's odd that he has such a negative reputation. The Stickam community was strong for a while and inspired dozens of LPs from different people (pxl's OoT one being the most memorable to me), in many ways being an old time tinychat/b8chat of sorts. The Wiki is pretty important to the board and widely used. Count in the "If It Were Up To" topics, still ran religiously today, and WhatPulse, and you have a guy who has contributed to the board a lot.

Stickam didn't happen on the board and didn't really affect the board, though. And I'm not sure if "If it were up to" was that huge a project. Zach has been important to the board, but I wouldn't say his influence is enormous.

Andy was a sociopath with huge anger issues and rose to prominence on the board mostly because of his obscene OTT reactions, eyebrow raising ideas and his dismissive attitude. A guy who I've often been unsure whether to be sympathetic towards or feel that he gets his due. He clearly had some severe social issues and admitted this on more than occasion however its difficult to be tolerant of this when he's threatening to kill people.
An entertaining user and longtime instigator of an anti-board attitude.

Points of Impact

-> Paranoia of discussion about him leading to much censorship and deletion. So much as reproducing an AIM conversation with him was grounds for an issue.
-> Attempted to rally for Link against Jay Solano
-> Pretended to be a girl for a while, it was never really believed by anyone from day 1.
-> Had a crush on Haley Scarnato from American Idol. Intended to marry her and flipped out if anyone spoke ill of her.
-> Part of arguably the most iconic board 8 rivalry with TTT.

Notable Moment:

His response to issues with TurnTurnTurn on a board was a swift and highly rational. He investigated the possibilities of having him assassinated and attempted to find out his personal details which he believed he could feed to a paid sniper.

Legacy:

The idea of board 8 being serious business has long been a common term of mockery and while its well established many of us elevate board affairs to matters of undue importance nobody ever quite did this to the extent of andy. While undoubtedly being the pinnacle of the serious business connoisseur, were it not for the Atlantic Ocean he may also have been the first board 8 murderer.

In addition he was renowned for being one of the biggest post markers on the board, frequently hounding users he didn't like with as many marks and mod contacts as he could muster.

Maybe, I never had experience with whirlybird. I just know that dark used to hang around some of the same circles as andy and had a similar attitude, though perhaps not going as far as to assassinate anyone.

Guy who once frequented this board enough to host his own contests and alt vote in them when they weren't going the way he planned. PrinceKaro busted him on it, and other users- namely CommodoreTN ridiculed him for this and other questionable behaviors. He then ragequit the board and closed his account only to return on an alternation and vote in other peoples' pokémon contests. He tried to lie low, but eventually his odd mannerisms resurfaced and drew people- namely CommodoreTN to ridicule him yet again. He seems to have been driven off for good this time, but who knows? He'll probably be back.

Highlights:

- Effectively ruined My Immortal's Save My Black/White Pokémon contest by anti-rallying Litwick (his reputation and inexplicable vitriol toward the pokémon caused people to not take him seriously and do the opposite of what he said)
- Posted an infamous YouTube video with the tags "CommodoreTN, is, an, ass" in which he flamed several GameFAQs users (most of which unknown to B8) in which he stated these users needed to go to hell (right now).
- Threatened to kill CommodoreTN, and by association, UltimaterializerX, with his father's shotguns. He even went as far as to ask Comm where he lived
- Obviously never followed through on it

He did convince someone - SpikeDragon. Spike was actually friends with him, and he believed andy because they were friends. Then eventually, after ages of everyone else on Board 8 ridiculing andy for even attempting this stupid joke, andy turns towards the one person who trusted him, and tries to make fun of him for it.

I'm kinda not right in the head and have also suspected myself of being mildly sociopathic, but I had serious conversations with andy on multiple occasions and even I found some of the stuff he said to be disturbing and full of red flags. As FigureOfSpeech, I was one of his best buddies on the board but as Caelus I accidentally managed to really piss him off. It was kinda funny when he found out both accounts were me... Never made death threats to me though. Either he had grown out of that type of behavior by then or he knew I've got weapons too

Telling someone about the board/actual life of GMUN has three potential results:

1. Overwhelming Joy: The person realizes that that even if they tried to be the single biggest failure of a human being, they would not be able to succeed due to Dylan having cemented himself into that title for eternity. More joy occurs when they then realize any children they have also cannot have this happen to them.

2. Driven to Madness: The sheer thought that such a lifeform exists would fry their brain, as it is not designed to comprehend how someone ended up how he did. They would spend the rest of their life in a padded room in a psych ward.

3. Obligation to Destroy Humanity: Follows the same spirit of #2, but the person maintains their sanity somehow. However, this is bad news for the rest of us, as the person knows that the species that produced GMUN cannot be allowed to continue to reproduce and potentially create a similar or worse human. The determination that such a cause gives the person will ultimately make them unstoppable, and the human race will be wiped out for the better of the gene pool.

Basically a one in three shot of something great happening, but is it worth it?
