I think my favorite thing about Transformers 3 was how Leonard Nimoy refused to do Star Trek Generations because he realized how awful it was, but he somehow agreed to do this.

imho, the songs released later than the LotR trilogy should be in a separate list. Like, seriously, would any movie *EVER* outsell Titanic if ticket prices weren't over double what they were when that came out? I'm amazed E.T. and Star Wars still crack the top 50.

It's pretty amazing that they got that many people to come back after the trainwreck that was Transformers 2.

The most common movie goer who went to see these movies, mainly teens, enjoyed Transformers 2.

It's literally the worst feeling in the world when you have a movie night with friends and they all are enjoying Transformers 2 while you can barely bite your lip long enough to get through it.

The Hobbit will probably hit top charts. I'm expecting at least third place from that movie.

Also, The real shocker here is. Kung Fu Panda 2 is in the top 50? Wtf?

I feel the need to point out that any "inflation adjusted" list of anything needs to be taken with a large grain of salt. Inflation adjustment, especially over such a long span of time, is more guesswork than science.
