ever since switching to stick I've kept sucking at stick but I've gotten just used to it enough that I can't go back to pad

About half were shotos, but other than that, it was good variety. Some Alex, some Hugo, Yun & Yang, one Urien, Makoto, one Dudley, some others, and surprisingly no Chuns.

Most of the matches were good connections but the bad ones were so so bad.

Yeah I haven't seen much Chun ever on 360. I guess people just feel bad playing her. At least you can justify Yun in that it requires a fair amount of execution to successfully Genei Jin someone.

I pretty much never run into some of the other characters though. I rarely see Elena or Ibuki players besides me, not many Qs, and thank God no one plays Twelve.

your Alex was definitely good, wrecked some of my best characters. I play a lot of Ibuki and Makoto and I think you beat both of them more than the other way around. I dunno if I won a round with Ibuki even.

Elena is whack. Her standing roundhouse is like Chun's back fierce except she slides forward. she has a weird hit box too. her roundhouse in general is really good so you can mindlessly standing roundhouse or jump roundhouse and be safe against most people. jumping roundhouse is easy to hit confirm off of as well, so she's extra lame.

speaking of "hit confirms" some of mine were just disastrous. I wish I could say they were all roll back but nah, a good amount of them I watched you block and then activated super anyway. whoops!

speaking of "hit confirms" I don't really know how to combo into ultra, so all my failures at there were me trying combos that sure didn't work!

Also you're pretty decent at parrying, really ruined a lot of my throw setups.

I dunno how to combo into his supers either. I think you can do his flashy chop thing and then combo that into one of his supers (the one that does a lot of stun) but I pretty much never touch Alex so I'm not sure on that.

thanks on the parrying. I'm usually pretty conservative with parrying online because half the time it doesn't work and I just eat punches to the face. but after a while our connection cleared up so that wasn't too bad. I've got a bad habit of guess parrying up when I'm waking up, I should probably stop doing that. really good way to get tripped again or super'd.
