What? I can't think of any Wii Mario Party clones. Minigame collections, perhaps. Anyway, here's hoping this one uses normal controls, not because I dislike waggle, but because everyone else does and there's no point playing MP alone.

If Wii U doesn't have an online Mario Party, I'm forever giving up on the series. Though I actually haven't played a MP since 4 (baring like 2 games of 8), so that's pretty much already happened.

To be fair, his body isn't overlapping. They just made it an uneven tower top. You know, with the... Ledge things that stick up.

Of course, everyone knows that box art is the least important part of any Mario game, since they sell on name alone, and no one is even obligated to look at it once they've purchased the dang thing.

Yeah, by far the most disappointing part of Mario Party 8 for me [IT WAS A PRESENT, DON'T JUDGE ME] was the underutilisation of motion controls. At least half of the games simply used the NES-style button layout.

They also added some kind of background object behind Daisy. I can't tell if it's a tree trunk or a cliff face. They also put stars above and below her.

Best non-Luigi addition is the technicolor lens flare behind the main star.
