In Blitz the League they did actually have a purpose but no part of The League would ever make it into a NFL Blitz lol I am not saying it is good they got rid of them, just that it really does not affect the game. If you won't buy it because of an element that has no impact on the actually game then you are a silly person. Look at it this way, they added online, build a team, all sorts of unlockables and took out late hits.
