Black Hole Green Sun summarizes the bleakness of the situation and how the climax is fast approaching, and Savior of the Dreaming Dead is...well, Doctor is pretty much the 'hope' theme of Homestuck. SotDD is what happens when the hope theme decides to rock out, and it's about as great as you'd expect. Flare is...fluff. A background piece. It's not touching, it's not memorable, and it's not tied to key scenes that add extra emotional punch, either. It's not bad, but it's forgettable. EDIT: Yes, I was thinking of the album version, because I legitimately can't remember what the Cascade version of Flare was like. Man, part 3 of Cascade is like, the best part if you set aside story importance (since it's kind of hard to top parts 6 and 7 in terms of sheer "holy s* factor").
