Well that was... I was not expecting this at all, even though it's basically the most straightforward application of the scratched session's "everything is the same, except exactly the opposite" rule.

i had a feeling there would be a cat bec-equivalent and that it would be jaspers. this seb character...not so much.

I think this IS related to Jaspers, genetically. I have a feeling all this stuff we've seen with Jaspers and Mutie and the labs underneath Rose's house and whatever the hell mom is doing in the most recent EOA is all related to this.

As I recall, the leading theory was that Bec's Alpha counterpart would be a cat with a BARK code (to compliment Bec's MEOW code). Looks like at least half that theory is right.

Not directly, no. But there were five green curtains in [S] Seer: Descend, so unless the curtain ruse was a distaction, that's how many there will be. It would also mirror having five acts for b1's session, as well.

After once again falling headfirst into Homestuck, it would seem that it's bleeding into my dreams for the second time ever (first was "A day in the life of the trolls") since starting the webcomic.

This time the dream was the Andrew Hussie insert in this shirt at http://mspaintadventures.com/?s=6&p=003578 explaining how the narrator used to be the announcer from Epic Rap Battles of History, but was then changed to himself halfway through Act 4. I actually didn't even remember that the insert *was* halfway through act four until I woke up and looked at the archive for verification. AH can not only break the fourth wall, but apparently, can also burrow deep into your brain to remind you of facts you have forgotten that never stopped being things that happened.

Edit: Also, I do blame this dream on reading the parody of Green Eggs and Ham starring Huss linked in this topic.

Homestuck is just so meta that Andrew Hussie is now telling the story through your dreams.

Having now gone back and reread some of the pages with the Epic Rap Battles of History announcer as narrator, everything now makes much more sense. THAT is why so many words in the beginning of the game were put in all caps! Those items and terms weren't important. It was just the bear's vocal quirk!

Well don't worry, you got a good start on the whole people believing 100 pages of updates thing. There's people who actually believe Andrew was being genuine there.

(One of my favorite things about the Homestuck fanbase are the slow people who never know what's going on in the story and always take everything Andrew says and does literally. It's endearing, in a really weird way.)
