Board 8 > thinking of getting a 3DS finally

been holding out since I'm a poor college student, but I've got some spare money now that christmas has passed. I really really wish now that I would have gotten that sexy Zelda 3DS pack, but eh, they're being sold for too much these days :(

Main reason I want one now is because I'm still using my old launch fat DS and it's in pretty bad condition. I never play DS games these days solely because of the screen, but playing Pokemon Black has made me want to give in and give Platinum a shot.

Getting OoT is a given even if it still costs a ton, but what else out there's worth it and what's worth waiting for the price to drop? I know everyone recommends Ghost Recon and I'll probably get it soon, considering it's cheap. I REALLY want SF64, but I think I'll wait for the price to drop a bit first. Don't particularly want Mario Kart or Mario 64. Guess I'll also get Harvest Moon since I know I'm gonna end up buying it anyways, but I dunno if there's any differences in the DS and 3DS versions.

Oh yeah, how's Radiant Historia? Heard some great things about it at launch, but I don't hear about it at all anymore. And if I had to choose between DQ9, DQMJ, and DQMJ2, which would be the best buy? I got halfway or so through DQ8 before my RPG ADD set in and I never finished it. Any other games I might have missed in the past year or two would be welcome considering I think the newest games I have on the DS are Pokemon Black and TWEWY!

Radiant Historia is great, the best jRPG of 2011 (though what really came out this year?).

Radiant Historia is amazing. I'd suggest SMT: Devil Survivor Overclocked over it if you can find it though. Pretty rare game; it did get a 2nd print but I have no idea if that's lasted.

It got a third print not too long ago but I think it might be rare again.

I'm hanging onto my copy, I'm tempted to open it and try it out but I'm not sure.
