Board 8 > Anyone else constantly doing bad in contests like me?

I know no-one cares but here it goes. I take part in these contests since 2003 (I joined at late 2002).I have taken part in all contests. And only in one contest I have been in leaderboard and that was the one the latest Character Contest (when Link beat Cloud in the final with like 53.5% I believe). And I was in the leaderboard for a week only too. So many contests and still I can't find how things work! Awesome. Anyone else as bad as me?

Define "bad". I'm rarely in the leaderboard, and tend to drop out quickly when I am, but I certainly ended up *checks* in the top 2% of brackets this year; possibly top 1% after Link wins.

So...yeah, if your definition of "bad" is "don't spend much time in the leaderboard" then yeah, I guess I'm bad too >_>

I've done a few, been on the leaderboard here and there, always finished around the top 3%, never finished on the leaderboard though.

Next contest will be the one where I do finish on the leaderboard, I can feel it!

I'm always bad because I always just quickly fill out a bracket and then never go back to check if I made any mistakes.

This bracket even more so because I only cared about this contest so long as the bosses were in it. I had them winning the whole thing even though I knew that wouldn't happen. I can dream.

Yeah guess you are right.I always finish in top 5%.But just once I would like to finish on the leaderboard!But that can't happen.I mean if I can't do it in this contest then that is.

I've been here since 2003. I think I got on the leaderboard once but had the wrong pick the next day and was 48th or something at the time. In the villains contest, I had enough points to be on the board but I wasn't.

Me. I always just throw together brackets at the last minute on instinct.

I generally compose my bracket in about 5 or 10 minutes, it's not a big deal for me. I go with my first instincts and never read this board for any help. I like the discussions on contests, not so much trying to win really. Too much pressure.
