I just got to WV?: Rise Up [3701]. I'm really enjoying it so far; I'm glad I gave it another shot after reading the first 20 or so pages a while ago and only being mildly interested. Current character rankings:

Also, every "Homestuck-reading-in-progress" character ranking I've seen for a while has had Cal under a mess of ">" symbols and it is wonderful. Cal is pretty much perfect at what he does in Homestuck.

I don't really know why everyone thinks CC has the worst typing mannerism. Sollux's is by far the worst, and even Terezi's is harder to read. Also, that's the last one, there aren't any more.

I love Sollux's typing.

Feferi's isn't the hardest to read, it's just the least interesting.

There're pretty large error bars on these, but preliminary rankings:

Aradia > Terezi > Nepeta > Karkat > Kanaya > Tavros > Feferi > Sollux > Equius > Vriska > Gamzee > Eridan

Equius would probably be higher if the most recent scene he was in involved him being a mega-creeper. Error bars especially high on Feferi and Eridan, haven't read much about them yet.

Vriska was one of the harder ones to rank, since there are aspects about her I really like. But when doing a ranking of mostly pretty likeable characters, the part of me that's thinking "that b****!" becomes pretty relevant.

also, take note that we all have varying rankings of the trolls.

there are *some* commonalities amongst most of the people on the board (mainly in the top 3ish) but i would take anything we say about a troll with a grain of salt. unless the troll is eridan. except i think we have someone here who likes him...so idk.

hussie can work some strange magic with some characters i'll say that much...
