they actually give their fans what they want. a good example: some random sonic fan makes a youtube video a year ago of mushroom hill in HD and everyone claims its "better than sega could do" with it, and they wish it was a reality...and here we are, sonic generations has the same exact thing and better in every way. sega always caters to their fanbase and listens to them reguardless of how shoddy their new school sonic games may seem at times. plus they took more risks than most of the beloved companies today. their console making days might be over but damn did they take a lot of risks and ill forever love the dreamcast as the revolution that started everything we have now, whether it be the xbox that was saved by panser dragoon, the playstation which took off after virtua fighter, or the gamecube which still has sonic adventure 2 battle remake as one of its most prized games, or better yet, online gaming in general, dreamcast was first.

the fans ASKED for shoddy sonic games. they kept saying make sonic go super fast..well look at him go in sonic unleashed ;o

Because they refuse to localise Valkyria Chronicles 3.

But aside from that, you're right, I still love 'em.

sonic 4 is actually a game made just for the fans by taking in ideas and thoughts of people on the sega forums...how many companies still do that?

if not multi console for ps vita and ps3

Sonic Generations is the best fanservice game in history and set the standard all other companies should follow.

Oh yeah I remember when the fans were demanding Sonic turn into a giant, slow, purple Manhog and be followed around by arguably the worst character in any Sonic game ever.

Sega really delivered there.
