GANON1025 12/16/11 5:28:00 PM #54:	Really bad. Sometimes things can be TOO simple, and the pallete-swapping is horrendous. Decent font work, Red/Blue is too dark. I love this one. This is perfect IF it was supposed to be ironic. It's like a post-modern match pic. It's poking fun at the horrible pics with too much s* in them that has plagued this contest, especially the trainer pictures. If this was supposed to be serious, then obviously it's no good. The trainers had more pokemon than Charizard and Blastoise! Though since this IS their biggest match I suppose using their most popular guys makes some sort of sense here. Average. Text needed more work, as do the pictures in the middle. WAY too much outer glow for my tastes. Might be the best match pic in this set if it wasn't for the text. Still probably is actually. The text is too hard to read IMO, but I understand the thought behind it. Besides that it's a simple piece that uses the castle well. This is somehow worse than the other one even though it has less stuff in it. The background of the trainers is like a joke, how about instead of random pokemon (I know it's the original 151 order) you use the actual teams these guys had? Great idea, decent execution. Your eyes literally have to search for the two competitors. Not only that, but you can't immediately distinguish the clashing swords from a fancy separator. And one of the WoW duo (dunno which, never played, never will) is a black blob with glowing green eyes. That is why people rag on this pic so much. Edit: Illidan.
