I usually have one that I'm constantly using and then one or two, sometimes three, that have something I intend to get back to at a later time.

I hate having more than 6 open at a time. Even that's a bit too much. I average about 3-4.

Usually 10-15ish, about half of which are gamefaqs topics I've not closed for various reasons

Upwards of 30ish when I'm doing school work that requires research or something or I'm not closing topics I'm done looking (Which happens a lot <_<) at though.

I hate going to the same site more than once a day so I just leave the important ones open all the time. The pinned tabs are the ones I do 90% of browsing in and the extras are usually pages I want to read or watch later.

3 pinned, and usually an extra 6-8 in any given tab group; I think I currently have about 8 tab groups on the go. I have essentially chained myself to Firefox's excellent tab-managing capabilities--so much so that I am unable to bring myself to use Chrome, no matter how much I appreciate the way it handles everything else. Sad stuff.

That would depend on a lotta factors, right now only 3 tabs, typical browsing sessions usually up to around 9 tabs.

If I'm loading up a lot of content could be like 50 tabs.

One, plus extra as needed provisionally. I never leave up dead tabs. If I have two for the same site, it's because I wanted to (for example) reply to a topic and also still look at what was in the topic. I'll also often have a YouTube playlist going with music. Beyond that, I can't stay having extra stuff open and close it any chance I get.

Then again, I used computers in the DOS days. You *needed* to close your excess crap back then. Kids these days, I'll tell ya, they just got no appreciation for memory management.

This is somewhat the reason why I don't have too many tabs or programs open at once. Even though I'm sure my computer could handle it, I feel like it would slow things down. But I just mainly I just hate clutter.

Absolutely f***ing hate clutter.

I hate having this many open, but I end up with all these tabs kept open as reminders of stuff I've got to do or videos I want to watch, and I take forever to get around to them. So they stay open until I finally do whatever I had them open for, or until the page expires, or until Chrome crashes without saving the tabs because of how many are open.
