Love the RPG elements, the rock paper scissors type stuff, and especially love the Perma-Death thing (which is very rare for Nintendo of all companies to come up with). But nothing beats single gameboy 4 player multiplayer, with map editor, and multiple COs and armies to use. The possibilities are literally endless. People get upset with it because you can easily max out your characters and it makes the game really easy in comparison to other FE games. there also might be a bit of Final Fantasy 7 vs. Final Fantasy 8 syndrome going on.
