With Christmas break coming up in two days I'll have a lot of free time. Back in 06-07 I watched Bleach, but stopped for some reason. I forget most of what's happened now, so is it worth trying to watch again, or did I just like it at the time because I was young and didn't know any better?
If it is worth watching, where can I watch it in good quality? (Subs not dubs please)
PS: The black and white part of the first intro is awesome, the image and the music go together nicely.
It was pretty decent overall, though I lost interest after the end of the Soul Society arc. Which is, admittedly, pretty f***ing great. Definitely worth a shot.

I'm open to pretty much anything I suppose. I haven't watched any in years but animes I remember liking are The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (The only one I finished, well 13 episodes at least, I think there's more now?), Blood+ (Got about half way through), Death Note (First two thirds or so), Lucky Star (About half way through).
Any show within the 9/10 realm is a really good starter choice.
However, as usual I tend to try to get people to watch some of the classics from the 90s early 00s before they delve into the more modern things. Classics like Cowboy Bebop and so on. Even some shows that might not have 9s or 10s (GTO, Outlaw Star, Evangelion) on my list I'd consider to be must watches.
If you really want to jump right into stuff that has aired fairly recently then obvious choices like TTGL, Baccano! and Fullmetal Alchemist: brotherhood are very good and it's hard to find people who don't enjoy them. The most recent anime that really blew me away is Steins;Gate which just finished airing last season.

You're messing with me! You're messing with me, aren't you!? You're making fun of me, aren't you!? Aren't you!? You definitely are! I'll murder you!
From: WhiteLens | #016 You should just try to recall where you left off and go from there. Many people here will be able to help you get back on track.
but to be fair if he already saw Soul Society he's seen the best Bleach has to offer...

I don't know why you would want to wait for the dubs. The acting in Steins;Gate was really good. Especially Okarin. Normally I don't notice good voice acting in anime when it's subbed, but it was hard not to be impressed.
