it supposingly has major technical issues with crashing, bugs with dragons flying backwards, and the game crashing or canceling out to the menu screen for no reason. THIS is the game of the year? wow this year sucked then.

not everyone wants to watch dragons fly backwards for 300 hours

It's amazing if you ignore the bugs. But I can only play in 1 hour segments before my frame rate drops to unplayable levels.

wow this sounds more serious than i thought.

I've heard the PS3 version suffers for reasons I never bothered to listen to. Aside from a CTD issue that happens maybe once every 4 hours or so, I haven't had any real issues.

Also, I never listen to people who give things the highest or lowest possible rating, and don't leave a review. Angry people come out of the woodwork to complain; happy people have no reason to go post a review because they're busy using the product. The game is winning GOTY awards from places, snatching it away from the typical boring shooters; that should be enough to tell you if it's good.

The PS3 version is a shoddily made pile of crap. Bethesda knew this, and intentionally withheld review copies of the PS3 version of the game, so people who bought it on launch or within the first week got stuck with a game that becomes unplayable after a period of time because Bethesda couldn't own up to their mistakes, or at least make a product that works.

Every negative rating they get is deserved for this f***ing stunt. Pathetic.

They're a PC company. Of course it's going to be glitchy. They'll patch it and it'll be fine a couple months from now. Civilization V was nearly unplayable at release but is good now, that's just how some of these companies operate these days.

I have it on PS3 and have not encountered a single bug. I have experienced some slight framerate droppage but it only seems to have actually happened in one area of the game. I have played it for a long time, not sure if the 50 hours or whatever people are saying before the framerate issues happen, but I tend to side with the idea that a couple bugs/graphical issues don't detract from a huge, fun gaming experience. However, if you experience crippling stuff like constant framerate problems, that is more than fair to say the game is bad, then.

I've only played on 360 but the only bug I've yet to see was me getting stuck in a mountain I was hopping down. Annoying but I could Fast Travel made it easy to fix.

Knowing your luck with Ban dodging and trolling offences you should be able to play the game bug free.
