It looked better than Monopoly though in that Monopoly locks things down once they're purchased and then from there it's either dice rolls, or whoever can take advantage of other players through trades from there on out. Here, the ability to pay 5 times a shop's price to forcibly take it over and bust up a monopoly, and getting to choose what stock you should buy and when at least livens things up a little. Looked like a pretty fun game, though $50 seems a little pricey for a more fun version of Monopoly.

Just buy Culdcept

I rented it, but haven't played it much. Not being able to play anyone but your Mii in single player sucks so much, and online play with random people is hopeless.

Nothing else I want to rent at the moment, though, so I'll probably keep it for awhile. I'd be down for a B8 game.

To be fair, it would be MUCH faster if they knew how to play.

I was playing a game while watching this. When I finished (with a 12000 gold win condition), the strongest player in their game had ~3000.

Just finished.

Damn that was incredibly fun to watch. I love how other people can buy things you already own, so you're pretty much forced to invest into your properties. Really cool mechanics in that game.

...Are you f***ing serious? Mii only single player? Who the f*** thought that was a good idea?

I mean, is there anyone in the entire world who actually likes miis or avatars or any of that bulls***? Yet they thought miis were good enough to force you play only as them in a portion of a game that has characters from Dragon Quest and Mario?

And I guess the one player mode is like, character specific to Miis or something, so it sounds like they were just really lazy and didn't want to change dialogue/such.

Online Multiplayer is restricted to Miis as well. Local Multiplayer is the only time you can use a character and nothing you do there counts. Not only can you not unlock the extra characters or boards, but you can't even earn accessories for the Mii you're forced to use. So annoying.
