I'm deciding to create a Random Elimination Story since there are so many out right now and making it a Battle Royal because it seems fun.

Okay here is what I will require when you sign up:
1. Your character's name, gender, age, etc. (You can add a background, weapons you prefer, who you would like to team up with, and so on if you want but these things may not be taken into account.)

2. State up to four skills you want to have but don't choose more than that or you may suffer some consequences later on in the competition.

3. State clearly what your character fears the most and if what you were going to say then say the next best fear you can think of.

4. You get to choose one item to start off with so think carefully before you make your decision.

These are all I ask for from you but at the end of some story parts there will be a question which will grant the first one to answer correctly through a PM to me will be immune to random elimination. The sign up has no set time limit right now but will in the near future.

I didn't know that the story had started until yesterday that is why I didn't respond to the take an action sequence. Okay for abilities you can have battle, survival, or miscallaneous skills which could involve abilities that don't really do much like having an eyepatch which could save you depending on the situation.

Personality: Extremely curious, calm and collected at all times.
Bio: A self-updating nanoswarm that takes the shape of a human. A noted degradation of quality is noticed from unchecked replication, therefor only the amount of nanomachines needed are produced, and carefully at that.
Skills: Self Repair by converting matter to more nanomachines (not overly fast if he loses all that much), high speed data processing, can send parts of himself to scout ahead, largely amorphous
Fear: Magnetism (completely ****s him up, and even low level exposure can corrupt his memory/ability to appear in the shape he wants to)
Item: Backup device, can restore him after magnet related memory damage/control processing

Hmm, let's see... Which character to use? Death Knight, Kamen Rider, Immortal... nah, let's go with my favorite.

Personality: Calculating and a coward. Willing to ally (or serve, if it comes to that) with others.
Skills: Future Sight (shows all possible future and what actions to take), Trace Target (shows the target's past), Extrasensory (Project her senses elsewhere). Almost-instantaneous processing time for years of info.
Weapons: None. In fact, not used to any kind of weapon. Hell, she's no good at unarmed combat as well.
Item: Stopwatch (Normal one. To gauge time perfectly)
Fear: That her own weakness will cause her downfall (ie, she knows it's possible to leap across a gap, but she didn't exert enough force), also fears facing an obstacle so insurmountable that she can't even see any possibility of succeeding, and of course... being alone with no one willing to help her.

Feel free to nerf her to fit in.

The setting is also random in one section it'll be a city another a forest, I don't care about the background since I'll make them fit in the story any ways, no limit as of now for contestants, and if you leave anything blank whenever sign ups are finished they will be filled in with a random item and/or skills unless you specify that you don't want skills or an item.

If you want, I can switch my abilities so that ability 2 is "good with weapons made in North Korea and/or XIII's basement" combining the two and therefore giving me an additional ability without going over 4, which would be "the ability to always have at least 2 elks present as non-player allies" (so long as that does not hurt my chances >_>)

EDIT: nevermind, sorry. So many people are doing these now that I got confused about which project this is. I thought I was replying to the project host because I was just in mcflubbin's topic. Please disregard my suggestion for editing my character's abilities... unless I can get away with that without hurting my chances of surviving for a long time >_>

A regular dude who happened to find a cursed crown right before this thing started. Wore it once already so he knows its powers and side effects.

Ice Powers: Able to shoot ice/snow from hands whenever crown is worn.
Wizard Eyes: Hallucinations that get progressively worse, although I'm sure they could occasionally be helpful, somehow, maybe to see hidden things. Occur even when the crown isn't being worn.
Mr. Freeze: Crown grants extraordinary resistance to cold.
Calm Mind: Maintains composure better than most, meaning he is capable of taking off the crown when he isn't using it to slow down the insanity, for now.

Fear of going insane.

Ice King's Crown: Grants ice powers when worn, though slowly causes insanity. Very shiny.

You can make it so you can find a friendly elk in one of the areas where it could appear and it can then join your group but you can't have the ability to automatically have two elks.

So far we have a total of 16, from what I can count, entrants and most have given their character descriptions if I may also just enter a whole lot of characters of my own design for filler in the story or maybe they'll just be there to die, not sure yet. Pirateking you still need to post your character details, by the way eyepatches can be part of your characters description and not the item in case those who want them were wondering.

This is fine but I'll have to find the series and read it or find info on it.

As tempted as I am to use this to make you read Mistborn, that will take awhile and its kind of a complex system. So instead I'll make a combination of my Twostuck guy and my XIII Battle guy.
