I'm a firm believer in the Pokemon themselves being kings, and the trainers being crap.

Throwing Charizard/Blastoise in the pictures could easily turn the tide in the trainer's favor in most matches in this bracket.

People are really overrating the potential of that factor.

I don't know why seeing Charizard/Blastoise in a picture is going to make people want to vote for the Trainers.

And if you believe in things like that, it's not like Ryu/Ken are going to be having bad pictures anyway.

Portal's sales are high, but GlaDOS was very weak in 2010. She could've gotten a big boost from Portal 2, but I doubt it's enough to counteract Frog/Magus. Chell doesn't add much to GlaDOS, and if rivalries DO matter, Frog/Magus should get a decent boost from that.

My logic for picking GLaDOS/Chell:

80% of GLaDOS's fans didn't know what she looked like and she was still able to win a match and perform to low-midcard expectations. With an actual picture and people knowing who she is, well, that actually makes this a little more interesting. And, if nothing else, the Portal Gun is going to be in the match pic, so that's funny, too.

Also never trusting Chrono Trigger since 2009 has done me pretty well!
