Oh, that's right, he wasn't even in a match.

He was in a skit with 2 Muppets (one of which SHOULD have pinned him clean) and Hornswaggle.

Congrats JoMo, you are now Chavo Guerrero Jr., only without the talent.

I thought that guy was gonna get pushed big. His Royal Rumble spot alone was so crazily over. Is he just a spot monkey who can't work a decent match or what?

He's been in a handful of great matches (including two Match of the Year candidates before). When put in the right situations with the right opponent, his unique skillset is a huge asset.

The problem, supposedly, is his girlfriend Melina, and how she has negatively impacted his career politically due to backstage drama she's in (some of which spread to Morrison, particularly involving Trish Stratus at Wrestlemania).

Apparently he f***ed up backstage because he keeps going out with this chick even when they tell him not to, so now he just jobs to people on a weekly basis. Sad to see, because he's had flashes of greatness against guys like Mysterio and Swagger a couple years ago.

AWESOME, the 2 ultra jobbers went at each other to see who the ultimate jobber is. It appears it was JoMo. Tell me it was a squash match.

Well, yeah, he is a spot monkey that can't work great matches, but that is not why he is not pushed.

He is not pushed because in 7 years he has not improved 1 iota on the mic, and therefore he does not deserve to be pushed.

He'll do amazing in TNA, maybe he could be there in the next 100 days to job to the Killer Queen Madison Rayne. The only true shame is he would not be here when Kharma comes back to get squashed by her.

Wasn't he pretty decent in ECW as a heel?

But yeah the few times I've seen him on a mic this year he's been pretty shocking. Awesome to watch in the ring though. Hard to believe he was main eventing Extreme Rules and did that awesome Starship Pain off the cage.

WWE still goes by those old carnival rules, punishing its workers with embarrassing acts for their real life shenanigans. Its beyond stupid; your wrestlers ARE your business, and by sending them out to lose constantly just harms your business. Not to mention how just, unprofessional the practice is. Dock their pay, take them off TV, suspend them, whatever, but don't send them on TV week after week just to lose all their credibility and piss off whatever fan wants to see that wrestler.

No, no he was not. This is a huge misnomer. I get why it is, he is so unearthly awful the rest of his career, that slightly less than mediocre looks fantastic for him. Go back and actually watch his promos, judge them just as promos, not against HIS other stuff. It won't look so amazing anymore. That said, it was definitely almost passable, and he should be that way again, this guy is NOT a face. It is unfortunate he has a face moveset, because he does nto have anything else face.

Well, to be honest, JoMo has had quite an opportunity. He won his first IC title over 5 years ago, he was 1/2 of the most memorable tag team of the last 10 years, and he got his PPV main-event chance.

There are plenty of other under-utilized guys that haven't had nearly that level of opportunity that are just dying for the chance to have it.

Are there better ways that WWE could be utilizing Morrison? Of course. Is it a major crime that other people are getting pushes that could be going to him? Not really.

Zack Ryder has sort of changed the dynamic as far as under-utilized talent goes. If you feel like you're being unfairly neglected and that there is an audience out there for you that WWE can't see, Zack has proven that there are ways to force your way up the card through pure strength of self-marketing.

JoMo has shirts that talk about a revolution, but the Ryder Revolution has actually succeeded.

Yeah, the more I learn about how wrestling actually works backstage the more I think about how...archaic the whole thing is. A guy has a bat-s*** insane girlfriend who could potentially embarrass the company, which is bad, but you deal with this crap privately. You don't send the guy out to get his ass handed to him every week. Lame.

I have a hard time thinking of anyone besides Khali or Umaga (by character choice) in the last decade actually worse than JoMo with a live mic.

Honestly, he'd be awesome if he went heel again and had a manager to speak for him. I remember a house show I was at, where he was teaming with Miz, and basically just stood around pissing off the crowd posing while Miz talked

Then he had this ****ing funny part where he was trying to do a Rick Rude swivel, but his opponent jumped him and interrupted it. So he fought back and started angrily pelvic thrusting at him whenever he knocked him down. Guy doesn't really *need* to speak to be pretty great

I don't understand the constant non-pushes of Zack Ryder, and the teasing of his fans by the WWE. I know they hate the Internet, but it just doesn't make any sense.

-He's a decent in-ring worker with big moves the crowd pops for
-He's got catchphrases the audience shout along with
-He's got ready made merchandise
-He's got an established fanbase
-He's a big face that the midcard needs

Why the f*** isn't this guy feuding with Cody Rhodes for the IC title? You can even work in an angle, how Ryder's vibrant, quirky personality directly opposes Rhodes' reserved, dull facade and trying to hide everyone's faces.

I just don't get it.

You can't feud Cody and Ryder right now because Cody is on the main-event fast track. Ryder vs. Ziggler is an equally great feud for Zack.

Have you missed raw for the last several months?

Basically his online feud with Ziggler has spilled over to the real show.

This week he beat Ziggler clean, which will probably be used to justify him getting another PPV shot at Zigglers title. Which is kind of upsetting because I thought Ziggler was on the ME fast-track but that's apparently not the case.

On the other hand he is currently the company's longest reigning champion by several months so maybe its just time.

I think right now they want Ziggler as an anchor in the midcard, kinda like HBK in the mid-'90s or Benoit for most of his career.

He'll get his run eventually, but for now they just don't have room at the top for him, and staying in the midcard guarantees he gets screen time and exposure moreso than being yet another main event heel. Look at Wade Barrett, for example.

He's terrible on the mic and his face persona is mostly absent. He has a look, and in-ring personality, an entrance... but he doesn't really connect that to any sort of character. He gets his creative spots in there, I'm sure people like his look/spots, but I think there's a ceiling if you can't get fans into a face John Morrison personality.

The backstage stuff is fine. They have to manage the locker room in order to manage the ring.
