To be completely honest, I liked Harleboss far more than I originally thought I would. The majority of it sounds good to me with its effects and vocals. The middle section, where it changes rather drastically, is the only part I'm not that fond of. A Functioning God stays great throughout and impressed me more, so it gets the vote, but that was a hard one for me to call. The second match is nowhere near as close. Lava Reef Zone 1 is average, Plain Asia is good, Plain Asia wins for me. As for Savior of the Waking World? Honestly, I found Harleboss more interesting. Just my opinion.

I actually specifically to an extent dislike Harleboss, so yeah. Also I'd have to imagine KK is thinking far more into this than he should be if he imagines that Doctor/Savoir of the Waking World would do poorly and "not get votes" for the reasons he described.
It would. I went ahead and scanned how songs in the style of each of the pieces I used for each soundtrack fared. Pieces like SotWW are consistent bombs.
Savior of the Waking World is possibly the best Homestuck track I've heard so far. Wouldn't take it over A Functioning God, but over Harleboss? Sure thing.

From: MycroProcessor | #055 It depends how you interpret "style" though. Not everyone is going to see the same thing in every piece of music that you do or interpret it's style as being the same as you might.
What music did you scan that implies that "Pieces like SotWW are consistent bombs." ? ? ? ? ?

Nope, as I said, I do too, actually more than Savior too. That said, I think Savior would have done better.
