Every so often I'll pick it up and put in six hours over the course of a few days but I just can't get into it. I wouldn't be surprised if I never finish it. Is it me being burnt out on JRPGs in general, or has the FF series just become a parody of itself, trading in innovation and creativity for eye candy and new colors of interesting hair styles? I'd say IX was the peak, and every game in the series has degraded since then. XIII was enjoyable, but honestly, it shouldn't be too difficult to beat it in the coming installments.
