Not quite an answer, but I recently re-read this and it was like whoa. Makes me wonder if this was the second scratch.
TT: I grew up with the feeling that something more significant had always been meant for her. Yeah I still can't wait until we get some clear answers about the guardians. Dad and Mom were both extremely powerful and were beating the crap out of strong enemies with their fists, Bro knew how to start the Scratch, and Grandpa Harley was obviously exploring the Incipisphere before returning home to Jade, since he has memorabilia from it lying around his house.

While it would be cool if the post scratch session involved the guardians as players, I wouldn't be surprised if Hussie pulled a...Hussie, and goes in a completely different direction with it. Most of the time when we're expecting something to happen, he subverts those expectations. That being said, it would be totally ****ing awesome and I really want it to happen. I might just be paranoid after all the times Andrew has tricked me, of course.
(Either way, I'm sure we'll know more about the guardians before the end. There was a pesterlog with Jade and John where Jade said that she saw a vision in Skaia's clouds, where she and John would meet Grandpa Harley. I just remembered about Jade's penpal who turned out to be her "grandson." When I reread that part I remember thinking it was Grandpa Harley from after the Scratch, thus, Scratch-Jade would be his grandmother. There was also the fact that the Trolls ancestors switched with their guardians in the post scratch session that seems to be hinting to it. And that's why I'm paranoid. When we all assumed that Lord English would be the one at the end of the troll session, it turned out to be Jack. And of course, most of us didn't expect the Tumor to create the Green Sun. Spoilers Here. Finally have somebody whom the CAIRO OVERCOAT fits. Anybody else notice that it's a demonic Cal skull? Makes sense, given what Doc Scratch was made of. Also, I don't think this is actually Lord English himself, but rather an avatar. I think the true Lord English is, and always has been... (ready for this?) ...the Scratch/Bec code.
