Shyvana cannot possibly have red by level 2 without a leash. And without natural CC, her ganks don't have much on the likes Riven.
However, her burst seems to be ridiculous and the speed boost from Burnout is nice for catching runners. Hmm. I need more time with this. btw sometimes I cannot get shyvana and so a more epic game occurs instead. This game with Han was one such game:
 I spent all my money on Boots of Mobility, 4 gold items, and as many wards as I could afford. Enemy udyr's jungle was constantly full of wards. Look how pathetically small his farm is and bear in mind that 800 of that was wasted on oracles that we killed. Han and I are 2 of our random allies (who were apparently Q'd together) were laughing hysterically all game. Also sunfire cape if you need beef. It's not that sunfire is WHOAOMGAMAZING, it's that it has good synergy. Come to think of it, a malady could be pretty ballin' on her - makes Burnout stronger and has the attackspeed and AP to help.

Spoilers anagram, that's because tanky DPS are versatile. Find me a carry that can jungle well or solotop and I'll find you hateful lies. Power creep has made it so you can't send a carry mid, or a caster bot without a heavy kill setup. Tanky DPS are the champions who can mix it up most.

Since I joined, these champions have been released: Orianna Yorick Leona Wukong Skarner Riven Xerath Graves Shyvana Four non-tanky DPS (and one of them is literally a tank), and five tanky DPS (and let's not forget that Graves is designed to be tankier than normal carries). Granted, okay, they're extremely unique, versatile tanky DPS champions who don't play similarly at all (except Wukong, who is made out of existing abilities and unoriginality), and I really do appreciate that they're able to do so much with a single archetype, but come on. You know why zero CS supports don't get released?
Two syllables: BO-RING. Most people don't LIKE playing pure supports. They HATE IT. Being a squishy ass whose job is literally to press S inside bush and then occasionally press a key is horrific. Sure, you're supposed to be more active than that, but in general supporting boils down to ultra passive play. The only support that averts that is Taric (and Alistar, sorta), because his job is to set up kill lanes. It's much more fun to do Leona style support where you're constantly trying to bully the everloving **** out of your enemy instead of derping around giving your buddy a heal or whatever. Also, we just got a super unique AP in Xerath, who is getting even more unique and powerful soon. We can wait a little on APs. What I really want to see is a new hybrid, not a specific role. If the only reason supports seem more common than any given tanky DPS is that there aren't as many choices, the obvious thing to do is to add more supports, right? And I know Yorick is more common than Wukong, but I still see all of the supports way more often than him. Loss ~ Shyvana ~ 6-7-8 (2.00) [-14] 1573 {34}
Our caitlyn was 100% unable to beat enemy vayne. Fed so hard early and then got caught mid game giving up buffs. Sigh Win ~ Taric ~ 0-1-6 (6.00) [+13] 1586 {34} Ally fiddle did work early. We held the advantage the rest of the game even against enemy graves. Win ~ Miss Fortune ~ 5-8-12 (2.12) [+13] 1599 {45} Enemies took anivia from red and their Anivia did very well. Very long fought game we almost lost. Win ~ Warwick ~ 5-5-17 (4.40) [+14] 1613 {45} red played support mundo. We started losing hard early (because of bot lane lol), came back just as hard mid/late. Adding a {stat} to show which picks we got. 90% of the time we get 4-5 pick but today we started with 2 games that were NOT 4-5 pick. Twas very strange. So depressed about my Shyvana debut. I did good work early that game, but Caitlyn was much to heavy.
