Holy hell he looks great.
Every time I start to think this game can't POSSIBLY get better, they prove me wrong. This goes like a step beyond being a comic fan's wet dream, this is looking to be a literally unbeatable comic book video game.

IDK if you got all the riddler challenges in the first game, but most (with a few exceptions) of the Batman villains end up in the profiles list. Some of his lesser known ones really should stay that way, but Mad Hatter is legit.

Right, Black Mask. I thought it was hinted that he's in the game though, because of the Sionis sign that's been shown several times. I hope it's not just an easter egg and he does appear.

I'm still upset that there's no sign of Scarecrow, and the more villains they reveal, the less likely I'll get my favorite. Mad Hatter is definitely a nice addition! I was not expecting that.

...I feel like I'm forgetting some. Aside from Scarecrow, I would love to see Firefly. I know that's not gonna happen, because that dude barely gets any love at all, even in comics. Maybe a future release, Rocksteady did say they would continue to make sequels as long as there was demand (at least I'm pretty sure that's what they said). Hopefully the next game also has Hush and the Ventriloquist.

Good point about Ra's al Ghul too. I could see Talia being in this game as a sorta hint of him being the mastermind behind whatever plot we'll get in the next game.

I know next to nothing about Batman's rogue gallery, but from what I read in Arkham Asylum Prometheus would be pretty cool.

Prometheus is broken, but I'm sure Rocksteady could handle him well... I'm not sure they'd want to at this point, because a LOT of us now associate Prometheus with one of the most god awful events DC ever produced.

Yeah, Bane's been known for a while. Apparently there's a part where he and Batman have to team up and go back to back to survive an assault from some of Hugo Strange's special ops team. Sounds awesome.

As for Scarecrow, I believe they did keep his scenes secret until the release of AA, so I could see them doing the same here.

I never heard of such a thing, but that does sound totally freaking awesome.

And yeah, I think we discussed before that they could just be keeping Scarecrow a secret until release, which is fine, and I really REALLY hope that is the case. But I can't get my hopes up still.

There's actually three different ending videos. Which one you get depends on how much percentage completion you have at the time you beat it. At least that's the theory as to how it determines which one you get.

One has Bane's hand coming up and grabbing the Titan.

One has Croc's.

One has Scarecrow's.

So I wouldn't take the ending video to mean anything at all.

...Did not know that. Doesn't Bane go flying into the water at one point in the game though? He's the only one that really makes sense to be there, unless Croc got flushed out through the pipes or something.

So they aren't going to have Clayface? He's the only good villain in the Batman series. Then again, Batman himself is terrible...so it makes sense that they'd leave out the only good villain.

I've also heard that it's dependent on difficulty, but the percentage thing is floating around too. I honestly have no clue, I think I might've gotten the same video for both my normal and hard playthroughs but I have no idea.

And the last time you see Scarecrow, Croc drags him into the water. Croc himself falls into the caverns under the island and it's not really a stretch that he escapes.

It's been a while since I played it so I don't really remember. I was referring to the Croc falling into the pit at the end of his boss fight but I don't remember the Scarecrow thing. I think Bane gets hit by the Batmobile or something and is carried into the water?

Scarecrow happens right before Croc, when you've broken out of his last illusion and are chasing him. You find him in the sewers, he pulls out a pouch and threatens to dump fear gas into the water. Then Croc jumps out of the water and drags him in

Joker is arguably the absolute worst comic book character in existence (even worse than Batman himself somehow). Scarecrow is fairly boring but not awful. Two-Face is decent, I will admit. Clayface has interesting *super* powers (something missing from a "superhero" comic series), has an actual backstory/reason for being evil other than (lolz i will be bad cuz im a jerk or cuz im insane), and has an interesting weakness.

Superpowers is 1 issue with them (I read/watch superheroes for superpowers...not for king fu panda crap). Another issue is that Joker has the worst backstory ever. There is zero creativity to being bad just because. Batman himself is super annoying too how they can pit him against anyone and the creators will just automatically make him "find a way" to win. That is such nonsense. Anytime someone has a comic hero debate between Batman and another character, their argument is always "Batman will win because he will find a way to win." What a lame argument that is stemmed from his lame creators. Someone once told me that Batman beat Superman? Are you serious? And I know he beat Captain America in Marvel vs. DC. What a crock of crap.
